Abstract
Beasiswa Peningkatan Prestasi Akademik (PPA) dan Bantuan Belajar Mahasiswa (BBM) adalah beasiswa yang diberikan pemerintah untuk menunjang proses belajar mahasiswa kurang mampu dan mahasiswa berprestasi. Pembagian beasiswa dilakukan oleh pihak fakultas ke setiap jurusan. Setiap jurusan melakukan proses seleksi untuk menentukan penerima beasiswa. Dalam penelitian sistem pendukung keptusan dengan implementasi fuzzy dan metode weighted product (WP) dijadikan alat untuk membantu proses seleksi penerima beasiswa. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) merupakan seperangkat sistem yang mampu memberikan rekomendasi dengan tepat dan akurat. Implementsi fuzzy digunakan untuk menetukan jenis beasiswa yang diterima dan memberikan nilai pada empat kriteria yaitu (1) nilai IPK, (2) jumlah tanggungan orang tua, (3) penghasilan orang tua dan (4) semester. Metode WP digunakan untuk menghitung nilai total dari setiap kriteria yang sudah diberikan nilai fuzzy. Nilai total yang diperoleh dengan metode WP akan dijadikan acuan untuk menentukan penerima beasiswa, sehingga memungkinkan hasil keputusan sesuai dengan yang diinginkan.
Improving Academic Achievement Scholarship (PPA) and the Student Learning Assistance (BBM) is a scholarship given by the government to support the learning process of students are less capable and outstanding students. Distribution of scholarships is done by the faculty to each department. Each department conduct the selection process to determine the scholarship recipients. In a study support system keptusan with fuzzy implementation and methods weighted product (WP) used as a tool to assist in the selection of recipients. Decision Support System (DSS) is a set of systems that can provide recommendations appropriately and accurately. Implementsi fuzzy used to determine the type of scholarships received and put a value on four criteria: (1) GPA, (2) the number of dependents of parents, (3) the income of parents and (4) semesters. WP method is used to calculate the total value of each of the criteria that have been given the fuzzy value. The total value obtained by the method of WP will be used as a reference to determine the scholarship recipients, thus allowing the decision in accordance with the desired.
