Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan selff-efficacy matematis. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan self-efficacy pada siswa adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan scientific. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu sekolah swasta yang berada di Bandung dan dilaksanan pada siswa kelas III SD semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan self-efficacy siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan scientific. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kontrol pretes-postes (Pretest-Postest Design). Data dianalisis dengan menguji perbedaan rata-rata dan uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan; 1) siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan scientific memiliki peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan self-efficacy matematis lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan konvensional, 2) terdapat hubungan antara peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan scientific, 3) terdapat hubungan antara peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan self-efficacy pada siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan scientific, jadi disimpulkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan scientific dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan self-efficacy pada siswa, dan terdapat hubungan antara peningkatan berpikir kritis, kreatif dan self-efficacy, sehingaa dari penelitian ini dapat direkomendasikan: 1) penggunaan pendekatan scientific harus disesuaikan dengan materi pembelajaran matematika, 2) masalah yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran matematika harus disesuaikan dengan tingkatan berfikir siswa. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan scientific, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan self-efficacy matematis This research was motivated by the lack of critical and creative thinking skills, as well as mathematical selff-efficacy. One way to improved the critical and creative thinking skills, and self-efficacy of students is to use scientific approach. The study was conducted in one of the private schools at second semester of school year 2013/2014, located in the bandung. The population was students in third grade of elementary school and the sample two learning group of the third grade. This research aims to see enhancement of critical and creative thinking skills as well as self-efficacy of students after receiving teaching by scientific approach. The method of the research was a quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control design. Data were analyzed by examining the mean difference and correlation tests between experiment and control group. The results showed; 1) achievement critical, creative thinking skills as well as mathematical self-efficacy of student who had been taught by using scientific approach higher those of students using the conventional approach, 2) there was a relationship between the enhancement of critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills of students who had been taught by using scientific approach, 3) there is a relationship between the enhancement of critical, creative thinking skills as well as self-efficacy of students who had been taught by using scientific approach, so inferred using scientific approach can improve critical, creaive thinking skills as well as self-efficacy in students, and there ware a relationship between enhancement in critical thinking, creative and self-efficacy, research can be recommended: 1) the use of a scientific approach should be adapted to the mathematics learning materials, 2) problem which is used for learning math should be adjusted to the level of student thinking.
