Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang (1) Pengaruh kinerja guru PKn terhadap perkembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik, (2) Pengaruh iklim belajar terhadap perkembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik, dan (3) Pengaruh kinerja guru PKn dan iklim belajar terhadap perkembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII. Jumlah sekolah yaitu 6 sekolah. Jumlah peserta didik kelas VIII yang terdiri dari keenam sekolah sebanyak 2.368 responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dari SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan, SMP Negeri 2 pangkalan, SMP Negeri 1 Telukjambe Barat, SMP Negeri 2 Telukjambe Barat, SMP Negeri 1 Klari, dan SMP Negeri 1 Rengasdengklok. Teknik pengambilan sampel sebesar 10% dari jumlah populasi kelas VIII setiap sekolahnya, sehingga jumlah sampel sebanyak 236 responden dengan tingkat kebenaran 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kinerja guru PKn berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perkembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik, Kinerja guru PKn yang dapat ditingkatkan yaitu kepribadiannya, guru PKn harus menjadi model bagi peserta didik untuk menularkan kedisiplinan kepada peserta didik (2) Iklim belajar berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perkembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik, iklim belajar yang berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik adalah sekolah yang mempunyai suasana akademik yang melatih dan memupuk kedisiplinan bagi warga sekolah dan (3) Kinerja guru PKn dan iklim belajar secara bersamaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perkembangan sikap disiplin peserta didik. Kinerja guru PKn menjadi contoh nyata mengenai siapa yang dapat dijadikan model oleh para peserta didik untuk dapat mengembangkan kedisiplinannya. Sedangkan iklim belajar merupakan penyesuaian peserta didik secara mandiri dalam rangka mengembangkan kedisiplinannya. Saran yang diberikan adalah (1) Kinerja guru PKn lebih ditingkatkan lagi agar dapat membentuk karakter disiplin peserta didik secara lebih sempurna, (2) Sekolah diharapkan terus-menerus untuk memperbaiki iklim belajarnya, (3) Orang tua seharusnya memperhatikan perkembangan anak-anaknya, (4) Peneliti selanjutnya agar lebih mendalami penelitian yang telah dilakukan. This study reviews (1) Influence Civics teacher performance to the development of the discipline of students, (2) Influence of learning atmosphere on the development of the discipline of learners, and (3) Influence of Civics teacher performance and learning atmosphere for the development of the discipline of students. The approach used in this study is a quantitative with survey method. Data collection using the study questionnaire. The population in this study were students of class VIII. Total school is 6. Number of students of class VIII which is composed of as many as 2.368 school sixth respondent. The sample in this study were taken from Junior High School 1 Pangkalan, Junior High School 2 Pangkalan, Junior High School 1 West Telukjambe, Junior High School 2 West Telukjambe, Junior High School 1 Klari, and Junior High School 1 Rengasdengklok. Sampling technique used 10% of the total population of each school class VIII, so that the total sample of 236 respondents with 95% degree of truth. The results showed that (1) Performance Civics teacher influence the development of the discipline of students, Civics teacher performance can be improved, namely personality, Civics teacher must be a model for students to transmit discipline students (2) learning atmosphere influence the development of the discipline of students, learning atmosphere that influence the development of the discipline of students is a school that has an academic atmosphere that trains and cultivates discipline for the school community and (3) Performance Civics teachers and learning climate simultaneously influence the development of the discipline of students. Civics teacher performance into a real example of who can serve as models for learners to be able to develop discipline. While climate is an adjustment learners learn independently in order to develop discipline. The advice given is (1) Performance Civics teacher further enhanced in order to form the character of discipline learners are more perfect, (2) Schools are expected to continually improve the atmosphere for learning, (3) Parents should pay attention to the development of their children, (4) Researchers further in order to further explore the research that has been done.
