Abstract

PenelitianbertujuanuntukmengetahuipeningkatanketerampilanberpikirkritisdanpenguasaankonsepsiswaSMA setelahpenerapan model inkuiriabduktifpadakonsepusahadanenergi.Penelitianinidilatarbelakangiolehrendahnyaketerampilanberpikirkritisdanpenguasaankonsepdarihasilstudipendahuluan yang dilakukan di sekolah yang samadenganpenelitian. Metode yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahmetodequasy experiment.Desainpenelitianmenggunakanone group pretest-posttest design.Sampeldalampenelitianiniadalahsiswa-siswikelas XI salahsatu SMA di Bandung yang diambilmelaluiteknikpurposive sampling.Pengumpulan data yang dilakukanadalahmelaluitesketerampilanberpikirkritisdanpenguasaankonsep.Data ujicobaketerampilanberpikirkritisdianalisismenggunakanproduct moment, sedangkan data ujicobapenguasaankonsepdianalisismenggunakanpoint biserial.Keterampilanberpikirkritisterdiridarilimaaspekyaituinferensi, evaluasi, analisis, interpretasi, daneksplanasi. Penguasaankonsepterdiridaritigaindikatoryaitumengingat, pemahaman,dananalisis. Dari hasilanalisis data, diperolehnilai gain yang sudahternormalisasi.Nilai gain yang sudahternormalisasiuntukketerampilanberpikirkritissecarakeseluruhanadalah 0,59, termasukkedalamkategorisedang. Sedangkan, nilai gain yang sudahternormalisasiuntukpenguasaankonsepsecarakeseluruhanadalah 0,35, termasukkedalamkategorisedang. Dengandemikian, dapatdisimpulkanbahwapenerapan model inkuriabduktifdapatmeningkatkanketerampilanberpikirkritisdanpenguasaankonsepsiswa. The aims of this study to determine the increase in critical thingking skills and concept mastery at high school students after the application of abductive inquiry learning model in work and energy concept. This research is motivated by the lack of critical thinking skills and concept mastery of the preliminary study in the same school. This study used a quasy experiment.. The research desain used one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study is students of class XI in one high school in Bandung are taken through purposive sampling techniques.Data collection is done is through the test of critical thingking skills and concept mastery. Trial data were analyzed using critical thingking skill product moment. Trial data were analyzed using concept mastery point biserial.Aspect of critical thinking measured is the inference, evaluation, analysis, interpretation, and explanatory. The concept of mastery measured three indicator is remain, understanding, and analysis.The analysis of data obtained gain value has been normalized. The gain value has been normalized to the overall critical thingking skills is 0,59, included into the medium category. While the gain value has been normalized to the mastery of the concept as a whole is 0,35, included into the medium category. So, it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry model abductive can improve critical thinking skill and concept mastery at senior high school.
