Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan latar belakang adanya permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan keterampilan mengajar guru di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 9 Bandung. Keterampilan mengajar yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah delapan keterampilan dasar mengajar yang diungkapkan oleh Turney, yaitu: keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran, keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan memberi penguatan, keterampilan mengadakan variasi, keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan membimbing diskusi kelompok kecil, keterampilan mengelola kelas, dan keterampilan mengajar perseorangan. Salah satu alternatif solusi dari permasalahan keterampilan mengajar guru adalah melalui penerapan lesson study. Permasalahan umum penelitian ini yaitu “bagaimana hubungan antara penerapan lesson study berbasis sekolah dengan keterampilan mengajar guru di SMA Negeri 9 Bandung?.” Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dan analisis data dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Hipotesis alternatif yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu “terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara penerapan lesson study berbasis sekolah dengan keterampilan mengajar guru.” Untuk pengujian hipotesisnya menggunakan rumus analisis korelasi Rank Spearman dan uji signifikansi dengan rumus uji-t. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMA Negeri 9 Bandung yang berjumlah 64 orang dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket, pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi dan pedoman studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara penerapan lesson study berbasis sekolah dengan keterampilan mengajar guru di SMA Negeri 9 Bandung dengan tingkat kolerasi sedang. This study was conducted based on the background of the problems associated with the teaching skills of teachers in Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Bandung. Skills taught are raised in this study are eight basic skills teaching expressed by Turney, namely: opening and closing lesson skills, questioning skills, provide reinforcement of skills, held variations skills, explaining skills, skills to guide small group discussions, classroom management skills, and individual teaching skills. One of the alternative solution to the problem the teachers' teaching skills is through the implementation of lesson study. The general problem of this study is "how the relationship between the implementation of school-based lesson study with the teaching skills of teachers at SMAN 9 Bandung?." This study was conducted by using descriptive correlational method and data analysis carried out through a quantitative approach. Alternative hypothesis proposed in this study that "there is a positive and significant relationship between the implementation of school-based lesson study with teaching skills of teachers." To test the hypothesis using the formula of Spearman rank correlation analysis and significance test with the t-test formula. The population in this study were all teachers at SMAN 9 Bandung, amounting to 64 people and sampling is done with total sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation of study guidelines. Based on the research results, in general it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the implementation of school-based lesson study with teaching skills of teachers in SMAN 9 Bandung with moderate levels of correlation.
