Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain didaktis yang dapat mengatasi dan mengurangi learning obstacles yang ditemukan pada materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel. Pengembangan desain didaktis pada penelitian ini berdasarkan pada hasil analisis learning obstacles dari Tes Kemampuan Responden (TKR) awal pada siswa yang sudah mempelajari materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel, analisis bahan ajar dan RPP yang digunakan pada pembelajaran sebelumnya, dan kajian repersonalisasi peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ini, disusun desain didaktis hipotesis dengan mempertimbangkan empat aspek, yaitu learning obstacles, learning trajectory siswa, teori situasi didaktis, dan proses abstraksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan Didactical Design Research (DDR). Subjek pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok. Subjek penelitian pada kelompok pertama adalah responden yang mengikuti TKR awal, yaitu siswa yang sudah mendapatkan pelajaran materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel sebanyak 37 orang kelas VIII SMP dan 40 orang siswa kelas X-MIA SMA. Subjek penelitian pada kelompok kedua, yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP sebanyak 40 orang yang mendapatkan pembelajaran menggunakan desain didaktis. Analisis hasil implementasi merupakan analisis retrosfektif, yaitu membandingkan prediksi respons dan antisipasi didaktis pedagogis yang disiapkan dengan kenyataan pada saat implementasi. Setelah implementasi desain didaktis, dilakukan TKR akhir yang hasilnya ontogenic obstacle yang ditemukan sebelumnya tidak terjadi lagi. Ada beberapa epistemological obstacle dan didactical obstacle yang berhasil diatasi, adapula beberapa yang masih muncul namun kuantitasnya berkurang. Dari hasil implementasi, disusun desain didaktis empirik yang telah direvisi berdasarkan kenyataan respons siswa pada saat pembelajaran dengan menambah beberapa respons siswa yang sebelumnya di luar prediksi dan mengubah situasi dari beberapa lesson design. This study attempts to develop a didactical design that could fix and reduce learning obstacles which is found on material the linear equations and inequalities in one variable. The development of didactical design in this study is based on the first result of analysis of the obstacles to learning in tests the ability of respondents (TKR) of students who have learned the linear equations and inequalities in one variable, analysis of teaching materials and lesson plans used in previous learning, and study of researchers repersonalisasi. Based on the result of analysis hypothesis didactical design formulated by considering four aspects, which are learning obstacles, students learning trajectory, theory of didactical situation and the abstraction process. Methods used in this study is a qualitative methodology with the didactical design research (DDR) approach. The subject at this study composed of two groups. The subject of study in the first group is respondents who involved in the first TKR, they were students who already received lessons of linear equations and inequalities in one variable material they were 37 students of class VIII at SMP and 40 students of class X-MIA at SMA. The subject of the study in the second group were students of class VII at SMP which consist of 40 students who had learning by didactical design. Analysis of implementation results is retrospective analysis, which was comparing the prediction of the response and anticipation didactical pedagogic which prepared with the reality when it is implemented. After the implementation of didactical design done, the final TKR which resulted ontogenic obstacle which discovered before and never happens again. There were epistemological obstacle and didactical obstacle which has been solved, some of them still appear but quantities were reducing. Based on the results of the implementation it is arranged didactical empirical design which has been revised based on student’s responds when learning with add some student’s responds formerly outside the prediction and changes situations of several lesson design.
