Abstract
Penelitian ini berusaha menjawab permasalahan penelitian yang telah dirumuskan, yaitu: Bagaimanakah hubungan penggunaan media film true story dengan kebermaknaan belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah psikologi umum ?” Secara lebih khusus, rumusan masalah dalam skripsi ini yaitu. 1) Bagaimana penggunaan media film true story pada mata kuliah Psikologi Umum di Jurusan Psikologi UPI?, 2) Bagaimana kebermaknaan belajar mahasiswa dengan menggunakan media film true story pada mata kuliah Psikologi Umum di Jurusan Psikologi UPI?, 3) Apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan media film true story dengan kebermaknaan belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Psikologi Umum di Jurusan Psikologi UPI? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Deskriptif Korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa angket, wawancara dan studi literasi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa jurusan Psikologi 2010 sebanyak 54 siswa. Pengelolahan data dilakukan dengan langkah : 1) mendeskripsikan data temuan, 2) uji validitas dan reliabilitas, 3) pengujian normalitas data, 4) pengujian hipotesis, 5) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dilapangan, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara penggunaan media film true story dengan kebermaknaan belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah psikologi umum. Adapun kesimpulan khusus yang dapat ditarik dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) penggunaan media film true story terbukti memberikan konstibusi yang yang baik sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran, 2) memberikan hasil yang baik terhadap kebermaknaan belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah psikologi umum, 3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap penggunaan media film true story pada mata kuliah Psikologi Umum dengan kebermaknaan belajar mahasiswa Psikologi UPI Bandung, berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan dengan tingkat keeratan sedang. Kata kunci : Media, Film True Story, Kebermaknaan Belajar This research attempt to answer formulated research questions which are: How is the relationship of the use of true story film media with the meaningful learning of the students in general psychology course? In more specific, the research questions in this research are: (1) how is the use of the true story film media in general psychology course in Psychology department UPI?, 2) How is the meaningful learning of the students in general psychology course with the use of the true story film media in Psychology department UPI?, 3) Is there a significant relationship between the use of true story film media with the meaningful learning of the students in general psychology course in Psychology department UPI? This research used descriptive correlational. The data collection was conducted by using an instrument which is questionnaire, interview, and relation study. The samples used are fifty-four students of Psychology Department 2010. The data analysis was conducted by: 1) describing the data collected, 2) validity and reliability testing, 3) data normality testing, 4) hypothesis testing, 5) concluding. Based on the result of this research, the conclusion is there is a positive and significance relationship between the used of true story film media with the meaningful learning of the students in general psychology course. In more specific, in this research there are other conclusions as follow: 1) the use of the used of true story film media was proven gave a positive contribution as a learning aid, 2) gave a positive outcome of the meaningful learning of the students’ learning in general psychology course, 3) there was a positive and significance relationship between the use of true story film media with the meaningful learning of the students in general psychology course in Psychology department UPI Bandung, based on the study were obtained with medium level.
