Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menguji dan mengetahui apakah metode role playing berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan penguasaan gerak menangkap, mengumpan dan membawa bola dalam permainan bolabasket. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelititan ini tes penguasaan gerak menangkap, mengumpan dan membawa bola dalam permainan bolabasket dari Nurhasan (2010:189-195). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bolabasket yang berjumlah 24 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 24 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan analisis data diperoleh t-hitung 4,621 > t-tabel 1,796 maka h₁ diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh dari metode role playing terhadap peningkatan penguasaan gerak dalam permainan bolabasket. Kesimpulannya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan metode role playing terhadap penguasaan gerak menangkap, mengumpan dan membawa bola dalam permainan bolabasket.

The purpose of this research is to test and to know whether is method of the role playing give the effect for improving the movement catching, passing and dribbling the ball into basketball game. This method wich is used in this reaserch is experiment method. The instrument wich is used in this reaserch is the command test to catching, passing and dribbling the ball into basketball game from Nurhasan (2010:189-195). The population in this research is the students who follow the ekstrakurikuler of basketball is amount 24 people. The sample in this research is amount 24 people which took using uptake of sampling jenuh technic. According to result of test and data analysis acquire taccount 4.621 > ttable 1.796 therefore h1 accepted is the meaning there is effect from method of role playing to improvement of mevement command. The conclusion is there is significant in fluent from using method of role playing to the catching, passing and dribbling the ball into basketball game.
