Abstract
Abstract: Learning To Use Mind Mapping On Science Learning Materials Natural Resources To Increase Student Learning Outcomes. The research was conducted in SD Negeri 3 Cibodas District Lembang West Bandung regency. This research is motivated from a variety of problems, one of which is the low student learning outcomes in teaching science resource material. The purpose of this research is to improve students' memory in order to increase student learning outcomes. This research was conducted using the method Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart with three cycles and each cycle consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects in this study is the VB class enrollment of 30 students, which consisted of 16 male students and 14 female students. The results using Mind Mapping on science learning showed an increase in activity and learning outcomes, based on: (1) the planning stages of learning is done in accordance with the RPP is exploration, elaboration, and confirmation. (2) the implementation of learning is good that students already understand the concept of making Mind Mapping. (3) increased student activity seen in the enthusiasm of the students when making Mind Mapping and improved student learning outcomes of the acquisition value of students' views on science learning about natural resources. In cycle I gained an average of student learning outcomes 70.76 and the percentage reaches 56.67% with enough categories in which students who achieve grades above KKM is 17 students. In the second cycle, the average score of students achieve the learning outcomes and the percentage value of 84.03 with 90% excellent category where students who achieve grades above KKM is 27 students. In the third cycle, the average score of student learning outcomes 96.13 and the percentage reaches 100% with excellent category in which all students have achieved grades above KKM. In the affective aspect gained an average of student learning outcomes in cycle I 42,6%, in the second cycle achieve 65,5% and in the third cycle achieve 91,5%. Whereas in the psicomotor aspect gained an average of student learning outcomes in cycle I 78,1%, in the second cycle achieve 93,6% and in the third cycle achieve 100%. From the results of the data obtained during the study, have shown improved student learning outcomes in each cycle by using Mind Mapping on science learning resource material in SD Negeri 3 Cibodas District Lembang West Bandung regency. Therefore, it is expected that another science learning materials to use Mind Mapping in order to increase student learning outcomes. Abstrak: Penggunaan Mind Mapping Pada Pembelajaran IPA Materi Sumber Daya Alam Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 3 Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari berbagai masalah, salah satunya rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sumber daya alam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan daya ingat siswa agar hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan tiga siklus dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VB dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 siswa yang terdiri dari 16 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswi perempuan. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan Mind Mapping pada pembelajaran IPA menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar, berdasarkan: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan sesuai dengan tahapan dalam RPP yaitu eksplorasi, elaborasi, dan konfirmasi. (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran sudah baik yaitu siswa sudah memahami konsep pembuatan Mind Mapping. (3) aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dilihat dari antusiasme siswa saat membuat Mind Mapping dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat dilihat dari perolehan nilai siswa pada pembelajaran IPA tentang sumber daya alam. Pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mencapai nilai 70,76 dan persentase 56,67% dengan kategori cukup dimana siswa yang mencapai nilai diatas KKM yaitu 17 siswa. Pada siklus II, skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mencapai nilai 84,03 dan persentase 90% dengan kategori baik sekali dimana siswa yang mencapai nilai diatas KKM yaitu 27 siswa. Pada siklus III, skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mencapai nilai 96,13 dan persentase 100% dengan kategori baik sekali dimana semua siswa telah mencapai nilai diatas KKM. Pada aspek afektif, rata-rata perolehan siswa di siklus I mencapai 42,6%, siklus II mencapai 65,5%, dan siklus III mencapai 91,5%. Sedangkan pada aspek psikomotor, rata-rata perolehan siswa di siklus I mencapai 78,1%, siklus II mencapai 93,6%, dan siklus III mencapai 100%. Dari hasil data-data yang diperoleh selama penelitian, telah menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus dengan menggunakan Mind Mapping pada pembelajaran IPA materi sumber daya alam di SD Negeri 3 Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Maka dari itu, diharapkan pada pembelajaran IPA materi yang lainnya dapat menggunakan Mind Mapping agar hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat.
