    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah sosial untuk meningkatkan kemampuan resolusi konflik dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan resolusi konflik dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa yang disebabkan oleh belum optimalnya integrasi isu sosial dalam pembelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan yang dimodifikasi dari Borg & Gall, mulai dari eksplorasi kebutuhan hingga validasi dan implementasi model. Subjek penelitian melibatkan guru dan siswa kelas IV dari 2 sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil studi awal menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS selama ini belum secara sistematis mendorong kemampuan resolusi konflik dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa. Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah sosial dikembangkan melalui komponen teoritis dan praktis, divalidasi oleh ahli, dan diujicobakan secara terbatas dan luas. Pengembangan tersebut menghasilkan model pembelajaran dengan enam langkah yaitu orientasi masalah sosial, identifikasi masalah dan diskusi kelompok, pengumpulan informasi dan eksplorasi solusi, penyusunan rencana aksi, simulasi dan refleksi. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada indikator resolusi konflik seperti identifikasi masalah, pengelolaan emosi, dan negosiasi, serta kecerdasan interpersonal seperti empati dan kemampuan kolaborasi. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran ini efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kemampuan resolusi konflik dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa sekolah dasar. Implikasinya, guru perlu didukung dengan pelatihan agar mampu menerapkan model pembelajaran ini secara optimal dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar. This study aims to develop a social problem-based learning model to improve conflict resolution skills and interpersonal intelligence of elementary school students. The background of this study is the low conflict resolution skills and interpersonal intelligence of students caused by the suboptimal integration of social issues in social studies learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with stages modified from Borg & Gall, starting from needs exploration to validation and implementation of the model. The research subjects involved teachers and fourth-grade students from two elementary schools in Bandung Regency. The results of the initial study showed that social studies learning has not systematically encouraged students' conflict resolution skills and interpersonal intelligence. The social problem-based learning model was developed through theoretical and practical components, validated by experts, and tested on a limited and broad scale. The development resulted in a learning model with six steps: social problem orientation, problem identification and group discussion, information gathering and solution exploration, action plan preparation, simulation and reflection. The results of the effectiveness test showed significant improvements in conflict resolution indicators such as problem identification, emotional management, and negotiation, as well as interpersonal intelligence such as empathy and collaboration skills. In conclusion, this learning model is effective in developing conflict resolution skills and interpersonal intelligence of elementary school students. The implication is that teachers need to be supported with training to be able to apply this learning model optimally in social studies learning in elementary schools.
