    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Keberhasilan pembelajaran tidak terlepas dari peran media pembelajaran sebagai penunjang tercapainya tujuan belajar. Media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan sesuai dengan konteks vokasional sangat dibutuhkan di SMK. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi pada program keahlian Instrumentasi dan Otomatisasi Proses. Berdasarkan observasi awal, ditemukan bahwa peserta didik memerlukan media praktik nyata yang mendukung pemahaman konsep pengukuran besaran proses dan meningkatkan keterampilan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, tes pretest dan posttest, serta angket untuk mengukur respon siswa. Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor 89% dari ahli media dan 92% dari ahli materi, yang dikategorikan sangat layak. Hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pretest siswa sebesar 56,5% meningkat menjadi 83,2% pada posttest setelah menggunakan media trainer. Efektivitas media juga diukur melalui nilai N-Gain sebesar 63.52 pada kelas eksperimen dengan hasil media cukup efektif dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 15.04 yaitu tidak efektif, serta hasil uji t dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara dua kelas. Rata-rata respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media mencapai 84,1%, termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, menunjukkan bahwa media ini juga berhasil meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Interactive learning media that are appropriate to the vocational context are highly needed in vocational high schools. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi in the Instrumentation and Process Automation expertise program. Based on initial observations, it was found that students needed real practice media that supported the understanding of the concept of measuring process quantities and improved learning skills. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data collection techniques were carried out through validation by media experts and material experts, pretest and posttest tests, and questionnaires to measure student responses. The validation results showed a score of 89% from media experts and 92% from material experts, which was categorized as very feasible. The test results showed that the average student pretest of 56.5% increased to 83.2% in the posttest after using the media trainer. The effectiveness of the media was also measured through the N-Gain value of 63.52 in the experimental class with quite effective media results and in the control class of 15.04 which was ineffective, as well as the results of the t-test with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the two classes. The average student response to the use of media reached 84.1%, included in the very high category, indicating that this media also succeeded in increasing student learning motivation.
