Abstract
Perkembangan kecerdasan sosial emosional ditandai dengan munculnya pola perilaku tertentu yang disertai dengan respons emosional alami yang berasal dari hati, hal tersebut sangat berhubungan erat dengan interaksi antara satu sama lainnya baik interaksi orang dewasa dengan orang dewasa, anak kecil dengan anak kecil, atau interaksi antara anak kecil dengan orang dewasa. Perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini harus dikembangkan secara optimal untuk bekal perkembangan selanjutnya. Aspek dari perkembangan sosial emosional antara lain aspek mandiri, patuh, tenang, percaya diri, toleran, responsive, serta aktif dan semangat. Permainan ular tangga merupakan permainan yang memiliki aturan diantaranya harus mengantri dan bergiliran untuk bermain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perkembangan sosial emosional anak sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya permainan ular tangga emosi serta untuk mengukur efektifitas permainan ular tangga emosi terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 17 orang anak usia dini yang berusia 5-6 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi yang berisi indikator keretampilan sosial emsoional. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan juga statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan atau pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan permainan ular tangga emosi pada kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia dini. Hal tersebut juga dibuktikan dengan hasil uji N-Gain yang termasuk ke dalam kategori Cukup Efektif. ----- The development of social-emotional intelligence is marked by the emergence of certain behavioral patterns accompanied by natural emotional responses that come from the heart. This is closely related to interactions between individuals, whether interactions between adults, between children, or between children and adults. The social-emotional development of young children must be optimized to lay the foundation for further development. Aspects of social- emotional development include independence, obedience, calmness, self- confidence, tolerance, responsiveness, as well as activity and enthusiasm. The snake and ladder game is a game with rules, including the need to take turns and wait in line to play. This study aims to examine the social-emotional development of children before and after the implementation of the Emotional Snake and Ladder game and to measure the effectiveness of the Emotional Snake and Ladder game on the social-emotional development of young children. The research method used is a quantitative method with a pre-experimental study design using a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 17 early childhood children aged 5-6 years. The instrument used was an observation sheet containing indicators of social-emotional skills. Data analysis utilized descriptive statistical analysis techniques as well as inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant difference or effect on the use of the emotional ladder game on the social-emotional skills of young children. This is also evidenced by the N-Gain test results, which fall into the “Fairly Effective” category.
