    Abstract

    Aksesibilitas merupakan faktor penting dalam pendidikan. Kebijakan PPDB sistem zonasi bertujuan untuk memberikan akses pendidikan yang lebih luas. Namun, peserta didik berprestasi justru terhambat oleh faktor jarak dari tempat tinggal menuju sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh jarak terhadap prestasi belajar di SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis tetangga terdekat, elips standar deviasi, analisis jaringan, uji kologorov-smirnov, dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecenderungan bahwa tempat tinggal peserta didik memiliki pola mengelompok dengan nilai rasio nearest neighbor sebesar 0,533. Pola pengelompokan ini mengarah ke tenggara hingga barat laut Kuningan. Hasil analisis jaringan jalan, jarak absolut peserta didik terpendek adalah 315 m, sedangkan jarak terjauh adalah 42 km. Lokasi tempat tinggal peserta didik dominan berada di jarak 0–5 km dari sekolah dengan jumlah 51 peserta didik. Sebagian besar peserta didik tinggal di luar batas SNI 03-1733-2004 dengan jarak lebih dari 3 km. Rentang nilai kelulusan peserta didik berada pada rentang 92,11 hingga 84,39. Berdasarkan asal kecamatan, nilai tertinggi berasal dari Kecamatan Darma, sedangkan terendah dari Ciawigebang. Setiap peningkatan satu poin jarak, prestasi turun 0,00001447. Nilai p-value lebih besar dari 0,05. Hubungan antar kedua variabel tidak signifikan. Accessibility is an important factor in education. The PPDB zoning system policy aims to provide broader access to education. However, high-achieving students are hampered by the distance from their homes to schools. This study aims to examine the effect of distance on academic achievement at SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan. This study uses quantitative methods. Data analysis techniques used are nearest neighbor analysis, standard deviation ellipse, network analysis, Kologorov-Smirnov test, and simple linear regression test. The results of the study indicate a tendency that students' residences have a clustered pattern with a nearest neighbor ratio value of 0.533. This clustering pattern tends to the southeast to northwest of Kuningan. The results of the road network analysis, the shortest absolute distance for students is 315 m, while the farthest distance is 42 km. The location of students' residences is predominantly within a distance of 0–5 km from the school with a total of 51 students. Most students live outside the SNI 03-1733-2004 limits with a distance of more than 3 km. The range of student passing scores ranged from 92.11 to 84.39. Based on the district of origin, the highest score came from Darma District, while the lowest came from Ciawigebang. For every one-point increase in distance, achievement decreased by 0.00001447. The p-value was greater than 0.05. The relationship between the two variables was not significant.
