Abstract

Batting is one of the technique that softball athletes must conquer to make a run/score, so a softball athlete must master basic technique, tactics and strategy in a good batting. The purpose for this research are 1) to find out the influence of toss ball training using part method toward batting result in softball, 2) to find out the influence of toss ball training using whole method toward batting result in softball, 3)to find out the difference between part method and whole method for toss ball training in softball. The method for this research is experiment method. The samples are Bumi Asri Softball Club Bandung members, the instrument is pitching machine based on technique comission of PB.PERBASASI. based on the result of data process and analysis, the conclusion of this research are 1) there is significant influence on using toss ball training with part method, score t=5,477 and p= 0,000<0,05, Ho denied. 2) there is significant influence on using toss ball training with whole method, score t=7,667 and p= 0,000<0,05, Ho denied. 3) there is no significant influence on using toss ball training with whole method and part method, score t= -0,204 and p=0,841>0,05, Ho accepted
