Abstract
Remaja seringkali menghadapi berbagai tantangan perkembangan yang berpotensi memunculkan perilaku menyimpang, sehingga kenakalan remaja menjadi masalah sosial yang patut mendapat perhatian serius karena berdampak pada aspek psikologis, akademik, dan sosial mereka. Maka dari itu pola pembinaan boarding school menjadi salah satu harapan orangtua agar anak tidak melakukan kenakalan remaja. Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan berasrama, menerapkan pola pembinaan dengan tujuan mencegah serta menanggulangi munculnya perilaku menyimpang di kalangan santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang kesiswaan, ketua pengasuhan, wali asrama (musyrif), santri, dan orang tua/wali; observasi partisipan di lingkungan sekolah dan asrama; serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Untuk menjamin keabsahan data digunakan triangulasi sumber. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola pembinaan yang diterapkan sekolah berasrama dalam menanggulangi kenakalan remaja, mengetahui proses pelaksanaannya, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pembinaan di Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School mencakup pendidikan keagamaan, pembiasaan kedisiplinan, penerapan reward and punishment, serta pengawasan intensif melalui kegiatan rutin harian seperti shalat berjamaah, tadarus Al-Qur’an, belajar malam, disiplin bahasa, dan program ekstrakurikuler. impulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pola pembinaan berbasis nilai religius, disiplin, dan kontrol sosial berlapis mampu menekan tingkat kenakalan remaja secara efektif. Hal ini juga sejalan dengan teori kontrol sosial Travis Hirschi, di mana keterikatan (attachment), komitmen (commitment), keterlibatan (involvement), dan keyakinan (belief) menjadi faktor utama dalam mencegah perilaku menyimpang pada remaja. Adolescents often face various developmental challenges that may lead to deviant behavior, making juvenile delinquency a social problem that deserves serious attention due to its impact on their psychological, academic, and social aspects. Therefore, the boarding school system is considered by parents as one of the solutions to prevent their children from engaging in delinquent behavior. Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School, as one of the boarding educational institutions, implements a guidance system aimed at preventing and addressing deviant behaviors among its students (santri). This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, the Head of Student Care, dormitory supervisors (musyrif), students, and parents/guardians; participant observation within the school and dormitory environment; as well as documentation study. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing using Miles and Huberman’s model. To ensure the validity of the data, source triangulation was applied. The purpose of this research is to examine the guidance patterns implemented by boarding schools in addressing juvenile delinquency, to understand the process of their implementation, and to identify the obstacles encountered. The findings indicate that the guidance pattern at Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School encompasses religious education, habituation of discipline, the application of reward and punishment, and intensive supervision through daily routines such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, night study sessions, language discipline, and extracurricular programs. The conclusion of this research is that a guidance system based on religious values, discipline, and layered social control can effectively reduce the level of juvenile delinquency. This is also in line with Travis Hirschi’s social control theory, in which attachment, commitment, involvement, and belief serve as the main factors in preventing deviant behavior among adolescents.
