Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan prototipe sepeda motor hybrid sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Perawatan dan Perbaikan Sepeda Motor Listrik dan Hybrid di SMK. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran kontekstual dan inovatif yang mampu menjembatani pemahaman konsep teoritis dan keterampilan praktik, seiring perkembangan teknologi otomotif yang semakin kompleks. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 peserta didik kelas XI Teknik Otomotif di SMK Negeri 1 Cisarua. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pretest dan posttest, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan hasil belajar peserta didik, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 58,5 dan nilai posttest sebesar 82,67. Nilai signifikansi uji t sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05) menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan prototipe berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar. Adapun nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,55 menunjukkan kategori peningkatan sedang. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa prototipe sepeda motor hybrid merupakan media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap sistem kendaraan hybrid serta layak untuk diintegrasikan dalam proses pembelajaran teknik otomotif di SMK. This study aims to determine the application of a hybrid motorcycle prototype as a learning medium in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Electric and Hybrid Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair at vocational schools. The background of this study is based on the need for contextual and innovative learning media that can bridge theoretical concepts and practical skills, in line with the increasingly complex development of automotive technology. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 30 students from the 11th grade Automotive Technology class at SMK Negeri 1 Cisarua. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments and analyzed using a paired sample t-test and N-Gain calculations. The research results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with an average pretest score of 58.5 and a posttest score of 82.67. The t-test significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) indicates that the use of the prototype significantly influenced the improvement in learning outcomes. The average N-Gain value of 0.55 indicates a moderate improvement category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the hybrid motorcycle prototype is an effective learning medium for improving students' understanding of hybrid vehicle systems and is suitable for integration into the automotive technology learning process at vocational high schools.
