Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa yang masih mendapatkan nilai yang belum mencapai KKM pada mata pelajaran ekonomi yang terlihat dari rata-rata penilaian akhir semester (PAS). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah kompetensi guru berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik stratified sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 351 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan kuisioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data dan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar, Secara khusus, kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, kepribadian dan sosial memberikan kontribusi yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar. This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of students who still get scores that have not reached the KKM in economics subjects as seen from the average final semester assessment (PAS). The purpose of this study is to determine whether teacher competence affects learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS of SMA Negeri in Bandung Regency. The sampling technique in this study used the stratified sampling technique, so that a sample of 351 students was obtained. The method used in this study was an explanatory survey with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that teacher competence had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes. In particular, pedagogical, professional, personality and social competences made a significant contribution to improving learning outcomes.
