    Abstract

    Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 2 Subang merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan melalui sistem ketarunaan. Sistem pendidikan ketarunaan bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter bagi peserta didik. Sistem pendidikan ketarunaan ini, peserta didik diajarkan mengenai tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, kepemimpinan, meningkatkan religiusitas serta cara berkomunikasi. Hal ini sejalan dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan P5 (Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) yang merupakan salah satu upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang mengutamakan pembentukan karakter. Sistem pendidikan ketarunaan bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter bagi peserta didik. Dimana di dalam sistem pendidikan ketarunaan ini, peserta didik diajarkan mengenai tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, kepemimpinan, meningkatkan religiusitas serta cara berkomunikasi. Sehingga, hal ini sejalan dengan penguatan karakter Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) sesuai yang diharapkan kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran sistem pendidikan ketarunaan yang diterapkan di SMKN 2 Subang, gambaran penguatan karakter Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar pancasila serta seberapa besar kontribusi sistem pendidikan ketarunaan terhadap penguatan karakter Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) di SMKN 2 Subang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan r hitung sebesar 0,987 > 0.254 pada taraf signifikan 5%, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara sistem pendidikan ketarunaan terhadap penguatan karakter Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Nilai koefisien Determinasi sebesar 0,975, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel variabel sistem ketarunaan (X) terhadap variabel karakter profil pelajar pancasila (Y) sebesar 95%. Vocational School 2 Subang is one of the vocational high schools (SMK) that implements a cadet-style education system. This system aims to shape students’ character by instilling values such as responsibility, discipline, leadership, religious devotion, and effective communication. The cadet education system aligns closely with the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), which is one of the initiatives under the Merdeka Curriculum to enhance the quality of education with a strong focus on character development.This study aims to describe the implementation of the cadet education system at SMKN 2 Subang, the characteristics of the Pancasila Student Profile being strengthened, and the extent to which the cadet education system contributes to character development in the context of the P5 program. The research employs a quantitative approach using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the correlation test show that the calculated r value is 0.987, which is greater than the critical value of 0.254 at a 5% significance level. This indicates that the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the cadet education system and the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile character. The coefficient of determination is 0.975, indicating that the cadet education system contributes 95% to the development of the Pancasila Student Profile character.
