PENGARUH PROGRAM PENGUATAN PROFESIONAL KEPENDIDIKAN (P3K) TERHADAP MINAT MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN TATA BOGA UNTUK MENJADI GURU

    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan Program Penguatan Profesional Kependidikan (P3K) terhadap minat mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Boga Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) tahun 2020 dan 2021 untuk menjadi guru. Minat dipengaruhi oleh faktor ekstrinsik dan faktor instrinsik. Pada penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui minat mahasiswa pendidikan tata boga untuk menjadi guru dibatasi pada faktor intrinsik saja, yaitu melalui pengalaman P3K. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana, data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket kepada mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Tata Boga UPI tahun 2020 dan 2021 yang telah lulus melaksanakan P3K dengan total responden 51 orang mahasiswa. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan SPSS Ver 30. Uji prasyarat analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan kecenderungan data dan analisis inferensial untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pelaksanaan Program Penguatan Profesional Kependidikan (P3K) terhadap minat mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Boga UPI untuk menjadi guru dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar <0,001 (lebih kecil dari 0,05). Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah ŷ=15,754+0,413X, yang berarti setiap peningkatan satuan dalam variabel P3K akan meningkatkan minat menjadi guru sebesar 0,413 poin. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the Teacher Professional Strengthening Program (P3K) on the interest of Culinary Education students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) from the 2020 and 2021 cohorts in becoming teachers. Interest is influenced by extrinsic and intrinsic factors. In this research, the focus is limited to intrinsic factors, specifically through the P3K experience. Using a quantitative approach and simple linear regression analysis, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students. The research sample consisted of 51 undergraduate Culinary Education students from the 2020 and 2021 cohorts who had completed the P3K. Validity and reliability tests were conducted using SPSS Version 30. The prerequisite tests included normality and linearity tests. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive analysis to describe data tendencies and inferential analysis to test the research hypothesis. The results show that the implementation of the P3K has a significant effect on the interest of Culinary Education students at UPI in becoming teachers, with a significance value of <0.001 (less than 0.05). The regression equation obtained is ŷ = 15.754 + 0.413X, which means that every one-unit increase in the P3K variable will increase the interest in becoming a teacher by 0.413 points.
