Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul ajar vokasional berbasis model pembelajaran langsung untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pembuatan minuman bunga telang bagi anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB G YBMU Baleendah. Latar belakang penelitian adalah keterbatasan bahan ajar vokasional yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa berkebutuhan khusus serta belum tersedianya modul berbasis potensi lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran vokasional masih terbatas pada praktik sederhana dan belum didukung modul ajar yang terstruktur. Hasil validasi ahli terhadap modul menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sebesar 95,83% (kategori sangat layak). Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan modul memperoleh skor 82,4% (kategori baik), sedangkan keterampilan siswa dalam praktik meningkat hingga 79,4% (kategori terampil). Dengan demikian, modul ajar vokasional yang dikembangkan dinilai aplikatif, kontekstual, dan dapat menjadi alternatif bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak tunagrahita ringan. This study aims to develop a vocational teaching module based on the direct instruction model to improve the skills of making butterfly pea flower drinks for students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB G YBMU Baleendah. The background of this research is the limited availability of vocational teaching materials that match the characteristics of students with special needs and the absence of modules based on local potential. The research method used was research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The initial observation results showed that vocational learning was still limited to simple practices and not yet supported by structured teaching modules. Expert validation results indicated a module feasibility level of 95.83% (very feasible). The implementation of learning using the module obtained a score of 82.4% (good category), while students’ practical skills increased to 79.4% (skilled category). Thus, the developed vocational teaching module is considered applicable, contextual, and can serve as an alternative teaching material suitable for the needs of students with mild intellectual disabilities.
