Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Treffinger dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Studi ini dilatar belakangi oleh observasi dan wawancara awal yang menunjukan rendahnya keaktifan dan partisipasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix methods dengan menggabungkan antara kualitatif dan kuantatif dalam metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas VIII-C dan guru Pendidikan Pancasila kelas VIII SMPN 33 Bandung. Penggumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, catatan lapangan, dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model Treffinger dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Peningkatan ini terjadi pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil persentase observasi aktivitas belajar peserta didik siklus I 65% dan 73% ke siklus II menjadi 81% dan 92%. Kemudian dalam observasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siklus I yaitu 40% dan 67% ke siklus II menjadi 72% dan 83%. Sementara hasil tes siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 67 dan siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 86. Berdasarkan hasil yang diuraikan, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Treffinger efektif untuk diterapkan guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan  agar guru dapat mempertimbangkan penggunaan model Treffinger sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran untuk mendorong kegiatan belajar menjadi kreatif, interaktif, dan peningkatan partispasi peserta didik di kelas. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Treffinger learning model in improving students creative thinking skills in the Pancasila Education subject. This study was motivated by initial observations and interviews that showed low student activity and participation in learning. The research approach used was a mix methods by combining qualitative and quantitative in the classroom action research method with the research subjects being class VIII-C students and class VIII Pancasila Education teachers of SMPN 33 Bandung. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, written tests, field notes, and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the application of the Treffinger model can improve students creative thinking skills. This increase occurs in each cycle. The results of the percentage of observations of student learning activities in cycle I were 65% and 73% to cycle II to 81% and 92%. Then in the observation of creative thinking skills in cycle I, namely 40% and 67% to cycle II to 72% and 83%. Meanwhile, the results of the first cycle test with an average score of 67 and the second cycle with an average score of 86. Based on the results described, the author can conclude that Treffinger learning is effective to be implemented to improve students creative thinking skills in the Pancasila Education subject. This study recommends that teachers can consider using the Treffinger model as an alternative in learning to encourage creative, interactive learning activities, and increase student participation in class.
