    Abstract

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini menghasilkan bimbingan karier berbasis The Chaos Theory of Career untuk mengembangkan adaptabilitas karier mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Teknik convenience sampling terhadap mahasiswa semester 4 Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar Banten. Instrumen adaptabilitas karier mahasiswa dikembangkan dan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adaptabilitas karier mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan statistik non-parametrik dengan Wilcoxon test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Bimbingan Karier Berbasis The Chaos Theory of Career teruji efektif untuk mengembangkan adaptabilitas karier mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi praktik bimbingan dan konseling pada perguruan tinggi, serta menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan program bimbingan yang lebih komprehensif untuk mengembanngkan adaptabilitas karier mahasiswa. The purpose of this study is to develop career guidance based on the Chaos Theory of Careers to enhance students' career adaptability. This study employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampling was conducted using a convenience sampling technique among fourth-semester students at Mathla’ul Anwar University in Banten. An instrument measuring students' career adaptability was developed and used to collect the data. Data analysis was performed using non-parametric statistics with the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study show that career guidance based on the Chaos Theory of Careers has been proven effective in improving students' career adaptability. This study contributes to career guidance and counseling practices in higher education and serves as a foundation for developing more comprehensive career guidance programs to further enhance students' career adaptability.
