    Abstract

    Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) merupakan aspek fundamental guna menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman. K3 tidak hanya penting diberlakukan di industri besar, namun juga penting untuk diterapkan dalam lingkungan teaching factory di SMK sebagai miniatur pabrik dalam sekolah. Penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) dalam teaching factory di SMK akan terlaksana dengan baik jika didukung oleh pemahaman siswa mengenai K3 itu sendiri. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman K3 siswa, implementasi K3 dalam kegiatan teaching factory roti, dan kesesuaian antara tingkat pemahaman K3 siswa dengan implementasi K3 dalam kegiatan teaching factory roti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif serta dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas XI APHP 1, XI APHP 2, dan XI APHP 3 SMK Negeri 1 Kuningan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pemahaman K3 siswa berada pada kategori “Baik”, sedangkan implementasi K3 siswa dalam pelaksanaan teaching factory berada pada kategori “Sangat Baik”. Temuan ini mengindikasikan adanya faktor lain di luar pemahaman siswa yang turut berperan dalam mendorong perilaku K3 siswa, seperti pengawasan dan pembiasaan penerapan K3 yang rutin. Oleh karena itu, upaya peningkatan pemahaman K3 tetap perlu dilakukan agar selaras dengan kualitas implementasi di lapangan dengan tetap mempertahankan praktik baik yang sudah berjalan. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a fundamental aspect of creating a safe working environment. OHS is not only essential in large industries but also crucial to implement in teaching factories within vocational schools, serving as miniaturized factories within schools. The implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in teaching factories at vocational high schools will be effective if supported by students' understanding of OHS itself. Therefore, this study aims to analyze students' level of understanding of OHS, the implementation of OHS in bread-making activities in teaching factories, and the alignment between students' level of understanding of OHS and its implementation in bread-making activities in teaching factories. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method and was conducted on students in grades XI APHP 1, XI APHP 2, and XI APHP 3 at SMK Negeri 1 Kuningan. The results of the study indicate that the average level of students' understanding of OHS falls in the “Good” category, while the implementation of OHS by students in the teaching factory is rated as “Very Good.” These findings suggest that factors beyond students' understanding contribute to promoting their OHS behavior, including supervision and the routine practice of OHS implementation. Therefore, efforts to improve OHS understanding should continue to be made to align with the quality of implementation in the field while maintaining existing good practices.
