Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk membandingkan keterampilan motorik kasar berdasarkan gaya belajar pada siswa sekolah dasar usia 10 tahun. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada fakta bahwa beragam gaya belajar siswa mempengaruhi kemampuan motorik dasar ditingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian komparatif dengan desain Cross-Sectional. Populasi penelitian mencakup siswa kelas III dan IV SDN 053 Cisitu Kota Bandung yang berusia 10 tahun, dengan total 113 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling, dengan melibatkan sebanyak 58 siswa sebagai sampel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik komparatif non-parametrik yaitu Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tingkat keterampilan motorik kasar siswa sekolah dasar usia 10 tahun berdasarkan gaya belajar. Siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik memiliki nilai rata-rata peringkat keterampilan motorik kasar tertinggi yaitu 38,98, diikuti oleh gaya belajar visual yaitu 27,39, dan terendah adalah gaya belajar auditori yaitu 18,75. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan pada ruang lingkup usia, jumlah sampel, dan tidak meneliti faktor lain yang mungkin memengaruhi keterampilan motorik kasar seperti lingkungan, aktivitas fisik, atau peran orang tua. This study aimed to compare gross motor skills based on learning styles in elementary school students aged 10 years. The background of this study is based on the fact that various student learning styles affect basic motor skills at the elementary school level. This study is a comparative study with a cross-sectional design. The study population included 113 10 year old students of grades III and IV at SDN 053 Cisitu, Bandung City. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, involving 58 students as samples. The data analysis technique used a non-parametric comparative statistical test, namely Kruskal-Wallis. The results of the study showed that there were significant differences in the level of gross motor skills of 10 year old elementary school students based on learning styles. Students with kinesthetic learning styles had the highest average gross motor skill ranking score of 38.98, followed by visual learning styles at 27.39, and the lowest was auditory learning styles at 18.75. This study has limitations in the scope of age, number, and did not examine other factors that might influence gross motor skills such as the environment, physical activity, or the role of parents.
