    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dalam mengurangi perundungan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Inovatif Daarul Ihsan. Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada prevalensi perundungan di lingkungan madrasah dan potensi pendidikan IPS untuk memberikan solusi. Penelitian ini menilai bagaimana pembelajaran IPS dan penerapan nilai-nilai anti-bullying dapat mencegah dan mengatasi perundungan di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS, implementasi nilai-nilai anti-bullying, dan peran pendidikan IPS dalam pencegahan perundungan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Inovatif Daarul Ihsan menerapkan metode Kontekstual Learning, Inquiry, dan Grouping dalam pembelajaran IPS sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka. Nilai-nilai anti-bullying seperti toleransi dan empati diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Meskipun perundungan verbal masih terjadi, sekolah aktif menangani dan mencegahnya dengan pendekatan holistik. Pendidikan IPS efektif dalam menekan perundungan melalui penanaman karakter sosial dan keterampilan interpersonal. Rekomendasi mencakup pengembangan program anti-bullying dan peningkatan kreativitas guru IPS dalam pengajaran. This study aims to evaluate the role of social studies in reducing bullying in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Inovatif Daarul Ihsan. The background of this study focuses on the prevalence of bullying in the madrasah environment and the potential of social studies education to provide solutions. This research assesses how social studies learning and the application of anti-bullying values can prevent and overcome bullying in the school environment. The objectives of the study were to evaluate the implementation of social studies learning, the implementation of anti-bullying values, and the role of social studies education in the prevention of bullying. The methods used include observation, interview and documentation study. The results showed that Madrasah Tsanawiyah Inovatif Daarul Ihsan applied Contextual Learning, Inquiry, and Grouping methods in social studies learning according to the Merdeka Curriculum. Anti-bullying values such as tolerance and empathy are integrated in daily activities. Although verbal bullying still occurs, the school actively addresses and prevents it with a holistic approach. Social studies education is effective in suppressing bullying through instilling social character and interpersonal skills. Recommendations include developing anti-bullying programs and increasing social studies teachers' creativity in teaching.
