    Abstract

    Perkembangan teknologi membawa kemudahan bagi kehidupan sehari-hari, selain itu banyak produk teknologi menarik yang bermunculan saat ini, salah satunya adalah game online. Namun ternyata permainan game online bisa membuat kecanduan pada anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu gambaran tingkat kecanduan game online pada siswa, dan mencari tahu gambaran penyesuaian sosial pada siswa, serta mencari tahu hubungan antara kecanduan game online dengan penyesuaian sosial. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian pertama menunjukkan sebuah gambaran tingkat kecanduan game online pada kategori sedang, kedua gambaran tingkat penyesuaian diri pada kategori tinggi, dan hubungan antara kecanduan game online dengan penyesuaian sosial. The development of technology brings convenience to everyday life, in addition, many interesting features have emerged, one of which is online games. However, this online game can cause addiction in children. This study aims to find out the picture of the level of online game addiction in students, find out the picture of social adjustment in students and find out the relationship between online game addiction and social adjustment. This research method is quantitative. The results of the first study show a picture of the level of online game addiction in the moderate category, the second picture of the level of self-adjustment in the high category, and there is a relationship between online game addiction and social adjustment.
