Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. Masalah ini penting untuk diatasi, karena apabila dibiarkan begitu saja, maka upaya untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan akan terhambat. Hal ini tentunya akan berdampak pada terbawanya kebiasaan buruk siswa yang tidak disiplin ke dunia kerja. Salah satu upaya dalam membentuk kebiasaan baik siswa yaitu pendidikan karakter melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila memiliki pengaruh terhadap kedisiplinan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksplanatory survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran angkat dengan populasi 285 orang siswa jurusan Manajemen Perkantodan dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa, dengan presentase pengaruh sebesar 70,6%. Tingkat keeratan hubungan antar variabel berada pada katagori kuat atau tinggi berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis penelitian. Dengan demikian, Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dapat dikatakan mampu memberikan peranan dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. The problem examined in this research is the low level of student discipline at SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. This problem is crucial to address, as if left unchecked, efforts to achieve educational goals will be hampered. This will undoubtedly lead to students carrying over their bad habits into the workplace. One effort to foster good student habits is character education through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project has an impact on student discipline. The research method used in this study was an explanatory survey with a quantitative approach. The research data was obtained through a sample distribution with a population of 285 students majoring in Office Management and Business Services (MPLB). The data analysis technique used was Simple Regression. The results of the study indicate that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project has a positive and significant influence on student discipline, with an influence percentage of 70.6%. The level of closeness of the relationship between variables is in the strong or high category based on the results of the research hypothesis test. Thus, the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project can be said to be able to play a role in improving student discipline.
