Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi belajar siswa kelas X MPLB SMK YPKKP Bandung dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pra-penelitian, diketahui bahwa interaksi siswa dengan guru di kelas masih tergolong rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai peningkatan partisipasi belajar siswa kelas X MPLB setelah diterapkannya monopoly board game. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain model Kemmis & MC. Taggart, yang terdiri 3 siklus dengan setiap siklus dilakukan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi guru dan siswa, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum penggunaan monopoly board game, partisipasi siswa berada pada kategori “Kurang”. Setelah dilakukannya tindakan, partisipasi siswa pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase sebesar 34% dan masih berada pada kategori “Kurang”. Pada siklus II, partisipasi siswa meningkat menjadi 69% dengan kategori “Baik”, dan pada siklus tiga mencapai 90% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan monopoly board game sebagai media pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan partisipasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas X MPLB SMK YPKKP Bandung. This research is motivated by the low learning participation of class X MPLB students of SMK YPKKP Bandung in the Pancasila Education subject. Based on the results of pre-research observations, it is known that student interaction with teachers in the classroom is still relatively low. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the increase in learning participation of class X MPLB students after the implementation of the monopoly board game. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Kemmis & MC. Taggart model design, which consists of 3 cycles with each cycle carried out in two meetings. The instruments used are interview guidelines, teacher and student observation sheets, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that before the use of the monopoly board game, student participation was in the "Less" category. After the action was carried out, student participation in cycle I increased by a percentage of 34% and was still in the "Less" category. In cycle II, student participation increased to 69% with the "Good" category, and in cycle three it reached 90% with the "Very Good" category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of the Monopoly board game as a learning medium has a positive influence on increasing student participation in Pancasila Education in grade X MPLB SMK YPKKP Bandung.
