    ABSTRAK PERSEPSI DAMPAK KEKERASAN VERBAL OLEH ORANGTUA DAN GURU TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN STABILITAS EMOSI ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK AZ-ZAHRA Shiva Nurfadillah 2106491 Kekerasan verbal dalam pengasuhan anak masih kerap dijumpai di lingkungan keluarga, meskipun tidak meninggalkan luka fisik, namun berdampak serius terhadap perkembangan stabilitas emosi anak. Hal ini juga terlihat di Tk Az-zahra, di mana terdapat anak-anak yang menunjukkan gejala mudah marah, menarik diri, serta cenderung tidak percaya diri, yang diduga berkaitan dengan pola komunikasi orangtua di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali persepsi mengenai dampak kekerasan verbal oleh orangtua dan guru terhadap perkembangan stabilitas emosi anak usia 5–6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Partisipan penelitian meliputi tiga orangtua dan dua guru kelas, Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Az-zahra, Kampung Cihuni Girang, Desa Gandamekar, Kecamatan Kadungora, Kabupaten Garut. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik untuk menemukan pola-pola utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kekerasan verbal yang dialami anak meliputi pelecehan dan penghinaan, ancaman, serta menyalahkan dan menyudutkan, yang diarahkan untuk mengendalikan perilaku anak. Faktor penyebabnya antara lain kelelahan fisik, tekanan ekonomi, stres emosional, serta pola komunikasi negatif yang diwariskan antargenerasi. Dampak yang muncul terhadap stabilitas emosi anak adalah penurunan rasa percaya diri, kesulitan dalam mengendalikan emosi, munculnya perilaku agresif pada sebagian anak, serta kecenderungan menarik diri pada anak lain. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pola komunikasi positif dalam pengasuhan anak usia dini. Orangtua perlu meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan mengelola emosi, sementara lembaga pendidikan dapat berperan sebagai mitra dalam memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan, agar perkembangan stabilitas emosi anak dapat terjaga secara optimal. ABSTRACT PERCEPTION OF THE IMPACT OF VERBAL ABUSE BY PARENTS AND TEACHERS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMOTIONAL STABILITY IN CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS AT AZ-ZAHRA KINDERGARTEN Shiva Nurfadillah 2106491 Verbal abuse in child rearing is still commonly found in families. Although it does not leave physical scars, it has a serious impact on the development of children's emotional stability. This can also be seen at Az-zahra Kindergarten, where there are children who show symptoms of irritability, withdrawal, and a tendency to lack confidence, which is thought to be related to their parents' communication patterns at home. This study aims to explore perceptions of the impact of verbal abuse by parents on the emotional stability of children aged 5–6 years. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research participants included three parents and two classroom teachers. The research was conducted at Az-zahra Kindergarten, Kampung Cihuni Girang, Gandamekar Village, Kadungora District, Garut Regency. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and observations, then analyzed thematically to find the main patterns. The results of the study show that the forms of verbal abuse experienced by children include harassment and insults, threats, and blaming and cornering, which are aimed at controlling children's behavior. The contributing factors include physical exhaustion, economic pressure, emotional stress, and negative communication patterns that are passed down from generation to generation. The impact on children's emotional stability includes decreased self-confidence, difficulty controlling emotions, the emergence of aggressive behavior in some children, and a tendency to withdraw in other children. These findings emphasize the importance of positive communication patterns in early childhood parenting. Parents need to increase their awareness and skills in managing emotions, while educational institutions can play a role as partners in providing education and guidance so that the development of children's emotional stability can be optimally maintained.
