Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap strategi yang digunakan oleh guru laki-laki dalam membangun kelekatan dengan anak pada pembelajaran di PAUD. Fokus penelitian mencakup pemahaman guru mengenai konsep kelekatan, strategi yang diterapkan, komunikasi guru dengan anak, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta bentuk dukungan lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi terhadap seorang guru laki-laki di satuan PAUD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang pentingnya kelekatan sebagai dasar hubungan sehat antara guru dan anak. Strategi yang dilakukan diwujudkan melalui interaksi positif, hubungan yang hangat, serta konsistensi dalam mendampingi anak pada tiga momen penting, yaitu saat kedatangan, waktu istirahat, dan kepulangan. Faktor pendukung strategi meliputi keaktifan anak, komunikasi dengan orang tua, fasilitas sekolah yang memadai, serta penerimaan dari pihak lembaga. Hambatan yang dihadapi antara lain perilaku anak yang masih hiperaktif dan menggunakan bahasa kasar, serta kurangnya sinkronisasi antara lingkungan rumah dan sekolah. Untuk mengatasinya, guru melakukan pendekatan personal dan komunikasi intensif. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa strategi guru laki-laki mampu menciptakan hubungan kelekatan yang hangat dan aman, sehingga mendukung proses pembelajaran anak usia dini. This study aims to reveal the strategies used by male teachers in building attachment with children in early childhood education. The focus of the study includes teachers' understanding of the concept of attachment, the strategies applied, teacher communication with children, supporting and inhibiting factors, challenges faced, and forms of support from the surrounding environment. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method, through data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations of a male teacher in an early childhood education unit. The results showed that teachers had a good understanding of the importance of attachment as the basis for a healthy relationship between teachers and children. The strategies implemented were manifested through positive interactions, warm relationships, and consistency in accompanying children at three important moments, namely arrival, break time, and departure. Factors supporting the strategy included the children's activeness, communication with parents, adequate school facilities, and acceptance from the institution. The obstacles encountered include children's hyperactive behavior and use of harsh language, as well as a lack of synchronization between the home and school environments. To overcome this, teachers take a personal approach and engage in intensive communication. The results of this study confirm that male teachers' strategies are able to create warm and secure attachment relationships, thereby supporting the learning process of early childhood.
