    Abstract

    Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya dari kemampuan apresiasi seni tari pada siswa SMA, khususnya di SMAN 4 Bandung yang disebabkan oleh minimnya pengetahuan dasar seni dan budaya lokal serta kurang tepatnya model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru. Hal ini menjadi dampak pada kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses apresiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bagaimana dari penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis diferensiasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari, serta melihat sejauh mana strategi pembelajaran yang menyesuaikan kebutuhan, minat, dan gaya belajar peserta didik yang dimana mampu mengatasi lemahnya apresiasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru seni tari, serta tes hasil karya (pre-test dan post-test) yang mengukur empat indikator apresiasi tari antara lain Estetika, Interpretasi, Emosi dan Kritik. Temuan pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan tersebut terlihat signifikan pada hasil apresiasi siswa di kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol, penerapan diferensiasi memberikan dampak yang positif. Pendekatan diferensiasi sangat terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan apresiasi siswa kelas XI SMAN 4 Bandung. Keberhasilan ini dicapai karena pendekatan tersebut berhasil mendorong peserta didik untuk lebih aktif dan tidak hanya percaya diri dalam memberikan tanggapan terhadap pertunjukan tari, tetapi juga mampu menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam serta sikap apresiatif terhadap nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam karya seni. The problem in this study is the low ability of dance appreciation in high school students, especially at SMAN 4 Bandung, which is caused by the lack of basic knowledge of local arts and culture and the inaccurate learning model applied by teachers. This has an impact on the lack of student involvement in the appreciation process. This study aims to describe and analyze how the application of a differentiation-based learning model can improve students' appreciation abilities in dance learning, as well as to see the extent to which learning strategies that adapt to the needs, interests, and learning styles of students are able to overcome weak appreciation. Data were collected through observation, interviews with dance teachers, and work tests (pre-test And post-test) which measures four indicators of dance appreciation, including Aesthetics, Interpretation, Emotion, and Criticism. The findings of the study indicate that there was a significant increase in the appreciation results of students in the experimental group compared to the control group, and the application of differentiation had a positive impact. The differentiation approach has proven highly effective in increasing the appreciation of dance by eleventh-grade students at SMAN 4 Bandung. This success was achieved because the approach successfully encouraged students to be more active and confident in responding to dance performances, as well as demonstrating a deeper understanding and appreciation of the cultural values contained in the artwork.
