    Abstract

    Latar belakang penelitian ini dilandasi oleh masih rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap keberagaman budaya dalam pembelajaran seni tari yang konvensional dan berpusat pada guru, serta perlunya inovasi dalam membentuk karakter sesuai Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran apresiasi dalam penguatan karakter berkebhinekaan global siswa melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tari di SMKN 3 Sukabumi Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental, di mana 15 siswa ekstrakurikuler kelas X dijadikan sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi tes (pretest-posttest), dan dokumentasi. Nilai rata-rata pretest siswa adalah 70 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest meningkat menjadi 89. Hasil uji t diperoleh t-hitung = 34,75 dan t-tabel = 2,145 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan n = 30, menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung > t-tabel, sehingga H₀ ditolak. Artinya, model pembelajaran apresiasi berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan karakter berkebhinekaan global siswa. Pembelajaran apresiasi seni terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai toleransi, empati budaya, dan sikap terbuka terhadap perbedaan. The background of this research is based on the low level of students' understanding of cultural diversity in conventional and teacher-centered dance learning, as well as the need for innovation in shaping characters according to the Pancasila Student Profile. This study aims to determine the implementation of the appreciation learning model in strengthening students' global diversity character through dance extracurricular activities at SMKN 3 Sukabumi. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, where 15 extracurricular students of class X were sampled. Data were collected through observation, interviews, test documentation (pretest-posttest), and documentation. The average pretest score of students was 70 while the average posttest score increased to 89. The t-test results obtained t-count = 34.75 and t-table = 2.145 at a significance level of 0.05 with n = 30, indicating that t-count > t-table, so H₀ is rejected. This means that the appreciation learning model has a significant effect in improving students' global diversity character. Learning art appreciation has proven effective in instilling the values of tolerance, cultural empathy, and an open attitude towards differences.
