Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh pengetahuan dasar matematika terhadap pemahaman siswa pada materi volume pekerjaan konstruksi di kompetensi keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis tingkat pengetahuan dasar matematika siswa, tingkat pemahaman siswa pada materi volume pekerjaan konstruksi, serta mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pengetahuan dasar matematika terhadap pemahaman siswa pada materi volume pekerjaan konstruksi. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman siswa pada materi volume pekerjaan konstruksi yang kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan awal yang dimilikinya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif, melibatkan 102 sampel yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) tingkat pengetahuan dasar matematika yang dimiliki siswa berkategori “Sangat Kompeten”, (2) tingkat pemahaman siswa pada materi volume pekerjaan konstruksi berkategori “Kompeten”, (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dasar matematika terhadap pemahaman siswa pada materi volume pekerjaan konstruksi dengan hasil persamaan regresi Y ̂i = 51,667 + 0,300. Xi, yang berarti bahwa semakin besar pengetahuan dasar matematika yang dimiliki siswa, maka semakin besar pula tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi volume pekerjaan konstruksi pada siswa DPIB di SMKN 1 Cirebon. Berdasarkan hasil koefisien regresi menunjukan pula adanya pengaruh yang berarti antara pengetahuan dasar matematika terhadap pemahaman siswa pada materi volume pekerjaan konstruksi. This study examines the influence of basic mathematical knowledge on students' understanding of the material on construction work volume in the Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB) competency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of students' basic mathematical knowledge, the level of students' understanding of construction work volume, and to determine how basic mathematical knowledge influences students' understanding of construction work volume. The study is motivated by students' lack of understanding of construction work volume which is possibly influenced by their prior knowledge. The study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method, involving 102 samples selected using the technique simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis methods. The results of the study showed that (1) the level of basic mathematical knowledge possessed by students was categorized as "Very Competent", (2) the level of students' understanding of construction work volume material was categorized as "Competent", (3) there was a significant influence between basic mathematical knowledge on students' understanding of construction work volume material with the results of the regression equation Y ̂i = 51,667 + 0,300. Xi, which means that the greater the basic mathematical knowledge possessed by students, the greater the level of students' ability in understanding the material on the volume of construction work for DPIB students at SMKN 1 Cirebon. Based on the regression coefficient, it also shows a significant influence between basic mathematical knowledge and students' understanding of construction work volume material.
