    Abstract

    Kemajuan teknologi informasi membawa dampak signifikan di berbagai bidang kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Bagi peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), khususnya pada Program Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB), penguasaan teknologi informasi tidak hanya menjadi tuntutan kurikulum, tetapi juga merupakan bekal penting untuk bersaing di dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan tingkat pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan kesiapan kerja siswa, serta menganalisis pengaruh di antara keduanya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 81 siswa kelas XI DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang, dipilih dari populasi 102 siswa melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dan dianalisis secara deskriptif serta melalui regresi linier sederhana menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berada pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata skor 79,41%, sedangkan kesiapan kerja berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor 81,09%. Analisis regresi mengungkapkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05) dan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 50,824 + 0,507X. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran di SMK sebagai strategi untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri ini. Advances in information technology have had a significant impact on various areas of life, including education. For Vocational High School (SMK) students, particularly those enrolled in the Building Information and Modeling Design (DPIB) Expertise Program, mastery of information technology is not only a curriculum requirement but also an important provision for competing in the world of work. This study aims to describe the level of information technology utilization and students' work readiness, and to analyze the influence between the two. The study used a quantitative approach with an associative method. The research sample consisted of 81 grade XI DPIB students of SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang, selected from a population of 102 students through a sampling technique.simple random sampling. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire and analyzed descriptively and through simple linear regression using SPSS version 25. The results showed that the utilization of information technology was in the good category with an average score of 79.41%, while work readiness was in the very good category with an average score of 81.09%. Regression analysis revealed a positive and significant influence of the utilization of information technology on students' work readiness, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) and a regression equation of Ŷ = 50.824 + 0.507X. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating information technology in learning in vocational schools as a strategy to equip students with skills relevant to the needs of this industry.
