    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berjudul Model Pembelajaran Apresiasi tari Cikeruhan pada Siswa Kelas VIII C di SMP Negeri 2 Jatinangor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap tari tradisional, khususnya tari Cikeruhan, serta memperkuat interaksi antara guru dan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar seni tari. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya keinginan dan partisipasi siswa dalam pelajaran seni budaya, terutama pada aspek apresiasi tari, serta kebutuhan akan model pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong interaksi yang lebih aktif antara guru dan siswa. Metodologi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan penilaian. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 2 Jatinangor dan guru mata pelajaran seni budaya. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan model pembelajaran apresiasi secara signifikan memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman, keterlibatan, dan partisipasi siswa dalam belajar tari Cikeruhan. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam mengamati, merasakan, serta menilai karya tari. Di samping itu, guru juga lebih melibatkan siswa dalam proses belajar dengan menciptakan suasana yang interaktif dan reflektif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model pembelajaran apresiasi terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan penghargaan siswa terhadap tari tradisional sekaligus memperkuat hubungan pedagogis antara guru dan siswa dalam pendidikan seni budaya di tingkat SMP. This study is entitled Cikeruhan Dance Appreciation Learning Model for Class VIII C Students at SMP Negeri 2 Jatinangor. The purpose of this study is to increase students' interest in traditional dance, especially Cikeruhan dance, and to strengthen the interaction between teachers and students in dance learning activities. The background of this study is based on the low desire and participation of students in arts and culture lessons, especially in the aspect of dance appreciation, as well as the need for a learning model that can encourage more active interaction between teachers and students. The methodology applied in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and assessment. The subjects of the study consisted of class VIII C students of SMP Negeri 2 Jatinangor and art and culture subject teachers. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the appreciation learning model significantly has a positive effect on increasing students' understanding, involvement, and participation in learning Cikeruhan dance. Students become more active in observing, feeling, and assessing dance works. In addition, teachers also involve students more in the learning process by creating an interactive and reflective atmosphere. The conclusion of this study is that the appreciation learning model has proven effective in increasing students' appreciation of traditional dance while strengthening the pedagogical relationship between teachers and students in arts and culture education at the junior high school level.
