Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah dalam belajar yang diakibatkan oleh tingginya tingkat academic burnout pada siswa. Self efficacy menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinnya academic burnout pada siswa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan Self Efficacy dengan Academic Burnout pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 15 Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel peneliti terdiri dari 202 siswa yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner self efficacy dan academic burnout, kemudian dianalisis dengan korelasi Spearman Brown. Hasil penelitian menunjukan : (1) secara umum self efficacy siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 15 Bandung secara umum termasuk dalam kategori low self efficacy; (2) secara umum academic burnout siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 15 Bandung termasuk dalam kategori high academic burnout; (3) berdasarkan uji korelasi terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara self efficacy dengan academic burnout. The research was motivated by learning problems caused by high levels of academic burnout in students. Self-efficacy is one of the factors causing academic burnout in students. The study aims to examine the relationship between Self Efficacy and Academic Burnout in grade XI students of SMA Negeri 15 Bandung. The study used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 202 students selected by simple random sampling. Data were collected using self-efficacy and academic burnout questionnaires, then analyzed using Spearman Brown correlation. The results of the study showed: (1) in general, the self-efficacy of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 15 Bandung is generally included in the low self-efficacy category; (2) in general, the academic burnout of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 15 Bandung is included in the high academic burnout category; (3) based on the correlation test, there is a negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic burnout.
