Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data serta gambaran mengenai hasil pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa melalui pembelajaran seni tari di SMP Negeri 14 Bandung dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan Deep Learning. Pendekatan ini diharapkan membuat siswa mampu memahami pembelajaran secara mendalam, menyenangkan, bermakna, berkesadaran serta aktif berpartisipasi dalam setiap proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan konsep Deep Learning yang menekankan pentingnya pemahaman, penerapan atau pengaplikasian, dan refleksi pembelajaran siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan one group pretest-posttest design yang meliputi tiga tahap yaitu pretest, treatment, dan posttest, dengan peserta sebanyak 35 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes, serta dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kreativitas siswa setelah diterapkannya pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran seni tari, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 63,50 dan nilai posttest sebesar 91,37. Dengan penerapan pendekatan Deep Learning, siswa menjadi lebih memahami dan memaknai materi pembelajaran sehingga kreativitas mereka meningkat. This study is motivated by the low level of student creativity in dance art learning. The purpose of this research is to obtain data and an overview of learning outcomes that can enhance student creativity through dance art learning at SMP Negeri 14 Bandung by utilizing a Deep Learning approach. This approach is expected to enable students to understand the learning process in a Mindful, Joyful, Meaningful, conscious, and actively participatory manner in every stage of learning. This aligns with the Deep Learning concept, which emphasizes the importance of students’ understanding, application, and reflection in learning. The study used an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design consisting of three stages: pretest, treatment, and posttest, with 35 students as participants. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and tests, and analyzed using a quantitative approach. The results showed a significant increase in student creativity after the deep learning approach was applied in dance art learning, with an average pretest score of 63.50 and a posttest score of 91.37. By implementing the deep learning approach, students gained a better understanding and meaningful comprehension of the material, resulting in increased creativity.
