    Abstract

    Pelatihan paduan suara merupakan cara pelatih maupun anggota paduan suara dalam mempersiapkan penampilan. Strategi ini melibatkan berbagai aspek, termasuk pemilihan materi, teknik vokal, dan metode latihan yang efektif. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya keberagaman yang berasal dari anggota paduan suara diluar jurusan musik dan memiliki kemampuan teknik bernyanyi yang berbeda-beda. Terdapat 2 indikator keberagaman yang dirumuskan oleh peneliti yaitu mulai dari pengalaman bernyanyi dan keberagaman kebudayaan lebih tepatnya pada dialek/logat bahasa yang mereka gunakan sehari-hari di lingkungan keluarga maupun lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pelatih dalam menghadapi keberagaman yang dimiliki oleh anggota paduan suara tersebut dalam mempersiapkan untuk mengikuti sebuah perlombaan disertai teori diferensiasi yang mendukung terhadap latar belakang yang telah peneliti sampaikan. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan baru bahwasannya teori diferensiasi dapat menjadi pendukung dalam menunjang metode pelatihan pada bidang paduan suara. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini layak untuk dilakukan dan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi berbagai pihak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, studi literatur serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya penerapan teori diferensiasi dalam pelatihan paduan suara dan bagaimana hasil penerapan teori diferensiasi dalam pelatihan paduan suara serta terdapat beberapa teori yang mendukung bagaimana anggota beradaptasi pada lingkungan yang memiliki suatu kebudayaan/suku mayoritas. Choir training is the ways in which trainers and choir members prepare for performance. This strategy involves various aspects, including material selection, vocal techniques, and effective training methods. This research is motivated by the diversity that comes from choir members outside the music department and has different singing technique abilities. There are 2 indicators of diversity formulated by researchers, namely starting from singing experience and cultural diversity, more precisely the dialect/logat of the language they use daily in the family environment and the surrounding environment. This research aims to find out how the coach's strategy in dealing with the diversity possessed by the choir members in preparing to take part in a competition along with the differentiation theory that supports the background that the researcher has conveyed. This research can provide new insights that differentiation theory can be a support in supporting training methods in the choir field. Thus, this research is worth doing and can provide benefits for various parties. This research uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected through interviews, literature studies and documentation studies. The results showed that there is an application of differentiation theory in choir training and how the results of the application of differentiation theory in choir training and there are several theories that support how members adapt to an environment that has a majority culture/tribe.
