    Abstract

    Saat ini, Indonesia memiliki 527.076 sekolah yang mana 87.607 di antaranya berada di bawah naungan Kementerian Agama. Banyaknya lembaga pendidikan formal yang berdiri tentu menjadi tantangan bagi madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan islami dalam membangun persepsi, kepercayaan, dan citra positif di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor dan persentase kontribusi faktor tersebut dalam membentuk citra madrasah serta faktor pembentuk yang paling mendominasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 350 orang yang terdiri dari kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah, guru, tenaga kependidikan, dan peserta didik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Bogor. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksploratori dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Adapun data penelitian dianalisis melalui analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis faktor eksploratori (principal axis factoring). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) terdapat lima struktur faktor baru yang terbentuk, yakni faktor sarana dan prasarana, prestasi dan reputasi, infrastruktur pembelajaran modern, hubungan masyarakat, serta program pembelajaran; 2) faktor sarana dan prasarana berkontribusi sebesar 31,59% dalam membentuk citra madrasah sedangkan faktor prestasi dan reputasi berkontribusi sebesar 4,61%, faktor infrastruktur pembelajaran digital sebesar 4,13%, faktor hubungan masyarakat sebesar 2,71%, serta faktor program madrasah sebesar 2,04%; 3) sarana dan prasarana secara struktural menjadi faktor dominan dalam membentuk citra madrasah Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa citra madrasah merupakan entitas yang tidak terbentuk melalui satu aspek tunggal, melainkan kolaborasi berbagai faktor yang saling mendukung dan mendukung kesan publik secara menyeluruh. Currently, Indonesia has 527,076 schools, of which 87,607 are under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The number of formal educational institutions that have been established is certainly a challenge for madrasas as Islamic educational institutions in building perceptions, trust, and a positive image in society. This study aims to identify the factors and the percentage of contribution of these factors in shaping the image of madrasas as well as the most dominating shaping factors. Respondents in this study amounted to 350 people consisting of the head of the madrasa, deputy head of the madrasa, teachers, education staff, and students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Bogor. The approach used in this research is exploratory quantitative with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. The research data were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis and exploratory factor analysis (principal axis factoring). The results showed: 1) there are five new factor structures formed, namely facilities and infrastructure factors, achievement and reputation, modern learning infrastructure, community relations, and learning programs; 2) facilities and infrastructure factors contribute 31.59% in shaping the image of madrasah while achievement and reputation factors contribute 4.61%, digital learning infrastructure factors by 4.13%, community relations factors by 2.71%, and madrasah program factors by 2.04%; 3) facilities and infrastructure are structurally the dominant factor in shaping the madrasa's image. This finding shows that the image of the madrasa is an entity that is not formed through a single aspect, but rather a collaboration of various factors that support each other and support the overall public impression.
