Abstract
Motivasi belajar yang rendah menjadi salah satu tantangan dalam proses pembelajaran geografi di SMA. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dilakukan melalui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif, seperti media pembelajaran tiga dimensi (3D). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi (3D) dalam pembelajaran geografi terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, Penelitian menggunakna pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, desain Quasi Experimental Design bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu X-J sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan X-B sebagai kelas Kontrol. Instrumen yang dipilih berupa lembar observasi, post-test, LKPD, angket, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment media pembelajaran 3D pada kelas eksperimen dengan signifikansi 2-tailed <0,000. Media 3D mampu meningkatkan aspek-aspek motivasi belajar, terutama pada indikator dorongan dan kebutuhan dalam belajar. 2) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan powerpoint pada pembelajaran geografi di kelas kontrol, namun tidak sekuat peningkatan yang terjadi pada kelas eksperimen. Hasil uji diperoleh nilai signifikansi 2-tailed <0,000. Indikator dengan peningkatan paling rendah berada pada aspek penghargaan dalam belajar. 3) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai signifikansi 2-tailed <0,002. Penggunaaan 3D sebagai media pembelajaran berpengaruh secara positif terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran geografi. Low learning motivation is one of the challenges in the geography learning process in senior high schools. One effort to improve students’ learning motivation is through the use of engaging and interactive learning media, such as three-dimensional (3D) learning media. This study aims to analyze the effect of using 3D learning media in geography learning on increasing students’ learning motivation. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method, using a Quasi-Experimental Design in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of class X-J as the experimental group and class X-B as the control group. The instruments used included observation sheets, post-tests, student worksheets (LKPD), questionnaires, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques included the normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant difference in learning motivation before and after the treatment using 3D learning media in the experimental class, with a 2-tailed significance value of <0.000. The 3D media effectively enhanced aspects of learning motivation, especially in the indicators of drive and learning needs. (2) There was a difference in learning motivation before and after using PowerPoint in the control class, but the increase was not as substantial as in the experimental class, with a 2-tailed significance value of <0.000. The lowest improvement indicator was in the aspect of rewards in learning. (3) There was a difference in students’ learning motivation between the experimental and control classes, with a 2-tailed significance value of <0.002. The use of 3D learning media had a positive effect on students’ learning motivation in geography learning.
