Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan profil Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa S1 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) angkatan 2023–2024 berdasarkan jalur masuk, fakultas, dan kampus daerah, serta merumuskan implikasi bagi layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data IPK 19.655 mahasiswa dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, mencakup mean, median, standar deviasi, skewness, kurtosis, dan tabulasi silang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas mahasiswa UPI berada pada kategori IPK tinggi hingga sangat tinggi (3,50–4,00), dengan distribusi dominan pada jalur SNBP dan SNBT. Mahasiswa jalur Seleksi Mandiri (SM) memperlihatkan rata-rata IPK lebih rendah dan variabilitas capaian lebih tinggi, dengan proporsi kategori rendah dan sedang lebih signifikan. Pola serupa ditemukan pada tingkat fakultas dan kampus daerah, meskipun terdapat karakteristik khusus di beberapa unit. Temuan ini menghasilkan rekomendasi program layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang didasarkan fungsi BK dan hasil penelitian yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan dan memelihara IPK mahasiswa S1 dari berbagai jalur perguruan tinggi. This study aims to map the profile of the Grade Point Average (GPA) of undergraduate students at the Indonesia University of Education (UPI) for the 2023–2024 academic year based on admission pathway, faculty, and regional campus, as well as to formulate implications for Guidance and Counseling (BK) services. The research approach used is quantitative with a descriptive method. The CGPA data of 19,655 students were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, median, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis, and cross-tabulation. The results showed that the majority of UPI students were in the high to very high GPA category (3.50–4.00), with a dominant distribution in the SNBP and SNBT pathways. Students in the Independent Selection (SM) pathway showed a lower average GPA and higher variability in achievement, with a more significant proportion in the low and medium categories. A similar pattern was found at the faculty and regional campus levels, although there were specific characteristics in several units. These findings resulted in recommendations for guidance and counseling service programs based on the functions of guidance and counseling and the research results, which can be used to improve and maintain the GPAs of undergraduate students from various university pathways.
