    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran instruktur sebagai fasilitator dalam meningkatkan kompetensi peserta pelatihan digital marketing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta triangulasi teknik dan sumber untuk memastikan keabsahan data. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua peserta, satu instruktur, dan satu pengelola program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Instruktur telah menjalankan perannya sebagai fasilitator secara optimal, mulai dari merancang pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan, menyiapkan materi pelatihan, memilih metode pembelajaran yang sesuai, menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif, hingga melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran. 2) Sebelum mengikuti pelatihan, kompetensi peserta digital marketing di Smart Gen Institute masih terbatas pada pemahaman dasar pemasaran dan belum terampil dalam praktik digital. Setelah pelatihan, peserta menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan, seperti perancangan strategi iklan, pengelolaan media sosial, media buying, branding berbasis SEO dan SEM, serta analisis bisnis digital. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi peserta sehingga lebih siap menghadapi kebutuhan dunia kerja digital. 3) Penilaian peserta menunjukkan bahwa instruktur memiliki kompetensi pengelolaan pembelajaran, kepribadian, sosial, dan substantif yang berkontribusi terhadap terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang efektif. Kombinasi dari kompetensi ini secara keseluruhan dapat mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta dan membantu peserta dalam pencapaian kompetensi secara maksimal. This study aims to examine the role of instructors as facilitators in improving the competency of digital marketing training participants. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation, and triangulation of techniques and sources to ensure data validity. The study subjects consisted of two participants, one instructor, and one program manager. The results indicate that 1) The instructors optimally performed their role as facilitators, starting from designing needs-based learning, preparing training materials, selecting appropriate learning methods, creating an interactive learning environment, and conducting learning evaluations. 2) Before attending the training, the participants’ digital marketing competence at Smart Gen Institute was still limited to basic marketing knowledge and lacked practical digital skills. After the training, participants showed significant improvement in both knowledge and skills, including advertising strategy design, social media management, media buying, SEO- and SEM-based branding, and digital business analysis. This indicates that the training effectively enhanced participants’ competence, making them better prepared to meet the demands of the digital workforce. 3) Participant assessments indicate that instructors possess learning management, personality, social, and substantive competencies that contribute to creating an effective learning environment. The combination of these competencies as a whole can encourage active participant engagement and assist participants in achieving maximum competency.
