    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas bahan ajar interaktif berbasis augmented reality pada materi sistem saraf dan sistem gerak manusia bagi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Subang. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah perlunya media pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak secara lebih konkret dan interaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest–posttest, melibatkan 35 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 butir yang telah divalidasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, uji t berpasangan, serta perhitungan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 54,5 dan posttest sebesar 66,0; uji t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Nilai N-gain keseluruhan sebesar 0,253 termasuk kategori rendah. Jika dirinci, aspek pemahaman (C2) meningkat dari 5,86 menjadi 6,83 dengan N-gain 0,220 (sig < 0,001), aspek penerapan (C3) dari 5,51 menjadi 6,06 dengan N-gain 0,133 (sig = 0,008), dan aspek analisis (C4) dari 5,18 menjadi 6,03 dengan N-gain 0,188 (sig < 0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman, penerapan, dan analisis siswa, namun efektivitas peningkatannya masih terbatas pada kategori rendah. Hal ini sejalan dengan teori kognitif multimedia Mayer dan konstruktivisme Piaget yang menekankan pentingnya pengalaman belajar interaktif, sekaligus mengindikasikan perlunya strategi implementasi yang lebih variatif dan alokasi waktu pembelajaran yang lebih memadai agar potensi media augmented reality dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of interactive learning materials based on augmented reality (AR) in the biology subject, focusing on the human nervous system and musculoskeletal system for eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Subang. The study was motivated by the demand for innovative instructional media that can help students visualize abstract biological concepts through three-dimensional and interactive representations. A pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design was employed, involving 35 purposively selected students. Data were collected using a validated 30-item multiple-choice test and analyzed with the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, paired sample t-test, and N-gain score.The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. The mean score increased from 54.5 in the pretest to 66.0 in the posttest, with a significance value of less than 0.05. The overall N-gain was 0.253, which is classified as low. When analyzed by cognitive aspects, comprehension (C2) improved from 5.86 to 6.83 with an N-gain of 0.220 (p < 0.001), application (C3) increased from 5.51 to 6.06 with an N-gain of 0.133 (p = 0.008), and analysis (C4) rose from 5.18 to 6.03 with an N-gain of 0.188 (p < 0.001). These findings suggest that AR-based learning materials can significantly enhance comprehension, application, and analytical skills, although the level of effectiveness remains in the low category.Overall, the study confirms the relevance of Mayer’s Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning and Piaget’s Constructivism, emphasizing that immersive visual and interactive learning can improve conceptual understanding. However, the low N-gain indicates that extended duration and varied learning strategies are required to maximize the benefits of augmented reality in biology education.
