    Abstract

    Pendidikan anak usia dini adalah tahapan krusial dalam perkembangan kognitif, namun tantangan dalam menemukan media pembelajaran yang efektif dan relevan dengan kurikulum terus berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas media YouTube Kinderflix terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini, khususnya dalam aspek mengingat (C1), memahami (C2), dan mengaplikasikan (C3), yang merupakan bagian dari Taksonomi Bloom. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 17 siswa Kelompok B di TK Al-Bayan Kota Bandung, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi pre-test dan post-test, dan dianalisis dengan uji statistik deskriptif, N-Gain Score, serta Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor rata-rata pre-test dan post-test di ketiga aspek kognitif. Nilai N-Gain total sebesar 0,70 berada pada kategori tinggi, yang menunjukkan efektivitas media ini. Uji Paired Sample T-Test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000, yang menandakan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan. Temuan ini memperkuat relevansi Teori Pembelajaran Multimedia Mayer, Teori Perkembangan Kognitif Piaget, dan Taksonomi Bloom dalam konteks pemanfaatan media digital modern. Kesimpulannya, media YouTube Kinderflix terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini, khususnya dalam level C1, C2, dan C3. Early childhood education is a crucial stage in cognitive development; however, challenges in finding effective learning media that align with the evolving curriculum persist. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of YouTube Kinderflix media in enhancing the cognitive abilities of young children, particularly in the aspects of remembering (C1), understanding (C2), and applying (C3), which are part of Bloom’s Taxonomy. A quantitative approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design was used in this study. The subjects were 17 children from Group B at TK Al-Bayan in Bandung, selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected through pre-test and Post-Test observations and analyzed using descriptive statistics, N-Gain Scores, and Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed significant improvement in the average scores of the pre-test and Post-Test across the three cognitive aspects. The total N-Gain score of 0.70 falls into the high category, indicating the media’s high effectiveness. The Paired Sample T-Test also revealed a highly significant difference with a p-value of 0.000. These findings strengthen the relevance of Mayer’s Multimedia Learning Theory, Piaget’s Cognitive Development Theory, and Bloom’s Taxonomy in the context of modern digital media utilization. In conclusion, YouTube Kinderflix media has proven effective in improving the cognitive abilities of young children, particularly in levels C1, C2, and C3.
