    Abstract

    User education merupakan bagian penting dari layanan perpustakaan karena bertujuan untuk mengenalkan perpustakaan dan fungsinya kepada pemustaka. Perpustakaan sekolah dasar memiliki peran penting dalam membiasakan anak- anak menggunakan perpustakan, sehingga penting untuk mengembangkan media yang menarik dan sesuai dengan usia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan fabel digital sebagai media penyampaian user education di perpustakaan SD Alfa Centauri Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan menggunakan model penelitian 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa wawancara dan angket validasi ahli dan angket respon siswa kelas tiga. Kelayakan media fabel digital dilakukan oleh empat ahli. menghasilkan nilai “Sangat Baik”, dari penilaian media sangat baik, penilaian bahasa dan sastra sangat baik, penilaian materi user education sangat baik dan penilaian ilustrasi sangat baik. Secara keseluruhan hasil dikategorikan “Sangat Baik”. Respon siswa dari 13 siswa kelas 3A dan 12 siswa kelas 3B, hasil respon dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa fabel digital “Sangat Baik” digunakan sebagai media user education. Penelitian ini berimplikasi bahwa fabel digital dapat menjadi inovasi baru dalam user education di perpustakaan sekolah. User education is an essential part of library services as it introduces young users to libraries and their functions. Elementary school libraries play a vital role in familiarizing children with library use, which highlights the importance of engaging and age-appropriate media. This study aimed to develop digital fables as a medium for delivering user education in the Alfa Centauri Elementary School Library, Bandung. The research employed the Design and Development (D&D) method, adopting the 4D model consisting of Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The research instruments used include interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and student response questionnaires for third-grade students. The feasibility of digital fable media was carried out by four experts. The results were very good, from the media assessment very good, language assessment very good, user education material assessment very good, illustration assessment very good. Overall, the results were categorized as "very good". Student responses from 13 students in class 3A and 12 students in class 3B, the results of the responses were in the category "very good". These findings indicate that digital fables are highly suitable for use as user education. This study suggests that digital fables can serve as an innovative approach to user education in elementary school libraries.
