    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Quality Assurance (QA) guru, menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta mengidentifikasi upaya sekolah dalam meningkatkan efektivitasnya di SMA Alfa Centauri. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari tantangan mutu guru secara nasional dan kekosongan regulasi penjaminan mutu internal. Dalam konteks tersebut, SMA Alfa Centauri menarik karena telah membentuk divisi QA yang mengelola program penjaminan mutu guru secara khusus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa QA guru dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui siklus Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA). Faktor pendukung mencakup SDM, teknologi, fasilitas, keterbukaan, komitmen, konsistensi, kesadaran guru, sistematis, serta dukungan anggaran. Hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu, kurang personil, dan perbedaan persepsi dalam penilaian. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas implementasi QA guru, sekolah menempuh berbagai upaya mulai dari menanamkan persepsi tentang urgensi mutu, menjaga keterbukaan dan fleksibilitas, melakukan pendampingan pada tim QA, melibatkan guru, menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai, melaksanakan sistem penghargaan, penguatan kapasitas tim QA, koordinasi dengan pengawas sekolah, serta menumbuhkan semangat belajar berkelanjutan melalui studi banding baik di dalam maupun luar negeri. This study aims to describe the implementation of teacher Quality Assurance (QA), analyze its supporting and inhibiting factors, and identify the school’s efforts to enhance its effectiveness at SMA Alfa Centauri. The background of this research arises from national challenges in teacher quality and the absence of regulations on internal quality assurance. In this context, SMA Alfa Centauri is noteworthy for establishing a QA division that specifically manages teacher quality assurance programs. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method, with data obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that teacher QA is systematically implemented through the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle. The supporting factors include the quality of human resources, the use of technology, facilities, openness, commitment, consistency, teacher awareness, a systematic framework, and budgetary support. The inhibiting factors consist of time constraints, a shortage of personnel, and differing perceptions in assessment. To improve the effectiveness of teacher QA implementation, the school undertakes various strategic efforts, ranging from instilling awareness of the urgency of quality, maintaining openness and flexibility, providing assistance to the QA team, involving teachers, ensuring adequate facilities, implementing a reward system, strengthening the capacity of the QA team, coordinating with school supervisors, and fostering continuous learning through benchmarking activities both domestically and abroad.
