Abstract
This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing a flipped classroom model supported by an e module in improving student learning outcomes on food additive material in Grade X Agribusiness Processing of Agricultural Products (APHP) at SMKN 2 Cilaku. The main problem addressed is the low student achievement resulting from the dominance of conventional teaching methods that do not actively engage learners. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design in two cycles involving 35 students of class X APHP 1. Instruments consisted of pre test and post test items (cognitive), affective observation sheets, and psychomotor observation sheets. The findings reveal that the flipped classroom model using an e module positively influences students’ learning outcomes. A significant gain was recorded in the cognitive domain, with the N Gain analysis falling into the high category. Improvements were also observed in affective and psychomotor domains, as reflected in increased student participation in discussions, enhanced discipline, and better skills in conducting practical activities. Moreover, the implementation level of the instructional model reached the very good category, indicating that it can be effectively applied in vocational education contexts. Consequently, the e module–based flipped classroom model can serve as an innovative learning strategy that holistically enhances achievement and engagement. This research has implications for the development of technology based learning in vocational schools and provides a reference for teachers in designing student centered instruction.
