Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peran guru dalam mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran agar siswa mampu mencapai hasil belajar yang maksimal. Salah satu aspek penting yang memengaruhi keberhasilan siswa adalah kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, serta mengevaluasi pembelajaran. Selain itu, minat belajar siswa juga menjadi faktor internal yang berkontribusi pada keberhasilan akademik, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi Keuangan yang sering dianggap sulit dan memerlukan konsentrasi tinggi. Kajian ini diangkat karena masih terdapat kesenjangan capaian hasil belajar siswa yang perlu dianalisis dari sisi kompetensi guru dan minat belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru dan minat belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi Keuangan di SMK Negeri Kiarapedes Purwakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket untuk mengukur kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) dan minat belajar siswa (X2), serta nilai formatif (0–100) digunakan sebagai indikator hasil belajar (Y). Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI dan XII program keahlian Akuntansi yang berjumlah 43 orang, sehingga teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Demikian pula minat belajar siswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. Secara simultan, kedua variabel independen memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pencapaian hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran melalui penguatan kompetensi pedagogik guru serta pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada fokus analisis keterpaduan kompetensi guru dan minat belajar siswa secara simultan dalam konteks pembelajaran Akuntansi Keuangan di SMK. This study is motivated by the crucial role of teachers in optimizing the learning process so that students can achieve maximum academic outcomes. One of the key aspects influencing student achievement is the teacher’s pedagogical competence in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning. In addition, students’ learning interest also serves as an internal factor that contributes to academic success, particularly in Financial Accounting, which is often perceived as a demanding subject requiring high concentration. This research was conducted to address the existing gap in student achievement by analyzing the roles of teacher competence and learning interest. The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of teachers’ pedagogical competence and students’ learning interest on their learning outcomes in Financial Accounting at SMK Negeri Kiarapedes Purwakarta. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. Questionnaires were used to measure teachers’ pedagogical competence (X1) and students’ learning interest (X2), while formative test scores (0–100) were used to assess learning outcomes (Y). The population comprised all 43 students from grade XI and XII in the Accounting program, thus the study used a saturated sampling technique. The findings reveal that teachers’ pedagogical competence has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. Similarly, students’ learning interest also has a positive and significant effect on their achievement. Simultaneously, both independent variables significantly contribute to the improvement of student performance. The implication of this study highlights the importance of enhancing learning quality through strengthening teachers’ pedagogical competence and developing strategies to foster students’ learning interest. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on the integration of teacher competence and student interest as simultaneous determinants of learning outcomes in the context of Financial Accounting learning in vocational schools.
