    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh maraknya perilaku seksual maladaptif yang ditunjukkan oleh peserta didik tunadaksa, seperti berbicara vulgar, menyentuh area tubuh sensitif teman, serta kurangnya pemahaman tentang batasan tubuh pribadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran integratif terhadap pemahaman perilaku seksual peserta didik tunadaksa pada masa pubertas di SLBN A Citeureup. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimen dan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari enam peserta didik tunadaksa berusia 17–18 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman perilaku seksual yang disusun berdasarkan adaptasi dari St. Andrew’s Sexual Behaviour Assessment Scale (SASBA) serta teori perkembangan kognitif Piaget. Hasil analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,027 (p < 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem-Based Learning memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman perilaku seksual peserta didik. Peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan PBL mengalami peningkatan kemampuan dalam memahami batasan tubuh, norma sosial, serta dampak dari perilaku seksual maladaptif dibandingkan dengan sebelum penerapan model tersebut. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa Problem-Based Learning tidak hanya berpengaruh dalam membantu peserta didik menguasai konsep secara lebih mendalam, tetapi juga mampu menumbuhkan sikap kritis dan kesadaran terhadap perilaku. Dengan demikian, model Problem-Based Learning dinilai layak dan direkomendasikan dalam pembelajaran integratif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman perilaku seksual, khususnya bagi peserta didik tunadaksa yang sedang memasuki masa pubertas. This research is motivated by the widespread maladaptive sexual behaviors exhibited by students with disabilities, such as vulgar speech, touching sensitive areas of peers’ bodies, and a lack of understanding of personal boundaries. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in integrative learning on the understanding of sexual behavior among students with disabilities during puberty at SLBN A Citeureup. This study employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consists of six students with disabilities aged 17–18 years. The instrument used is a sexual behavior comprehension test, adapted from the St. Andrew’s Sexual Behaviour Assessment Scale (SASBA) and based on Piaget’s cognitive development theory. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test shows a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value of 0.027 (p < 0.05). The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has a significant effect on improving students' understanding of sexual behavior. Students who participated in PBL experienced an increase in their ability to understand body boundaries, social norms, and the impacts of maladaptive sexual behavior compared to before the model was applied. These findings suggest that Problem-Based Learning not only helps students grasp concepts more deeply but also fosters critical attitudes and awareness regarding behavior. Therefore, the PBL model is considered appropriate and recommended for integrative learning to enhance understanding of sexual behavior, especially for students with disabilities who are entering puberty.
