Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi rendahnya kemampuan penalaran dan Computational Thinking (CT) siswa di Indonesia, yang menjadi hambatan dalam memahami konsep Pemrograman Berorientasi Objek (PBO). Dengan mengintegrasikan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL), dikembangkan media pembelajaran visual unplugged bernama OOPify Unplugged. Menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media tersebut efektif meningkatkan kemampuan CT siswa, dengan nilai N-Gain 0,55 (kategori sedang). Respon siswa terhadap media ini juga sangat positif, dibuktikan dengan skor System Usability Scale (SUS) 77,17 (kategori baik), yang menunjukkan bahwa OOPify Unplugged menarik, mudah digunakan, dan dapat menjadi inovasi media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman PBO sekaligus keterampilan CT siswa. This study aims to address the low reasoning and Computational Thinking (CT) skills of students in Indonesia, which pose a significant challenge in comprehending Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. By integrating the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, an unplugged visual learning media called OOPify Unplugged was developed. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with an ADDIE model and a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, the research shows that the media is effective in improving students' CT skills, with an N-Gain of 0.55 (medium category). Students' responses to the media were also highly positive, as evidenced by a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 77.17 (good category), indicating that OOPify Unplugged is engaging, easy to use, and can serve as an effective learning media innovation to enhance both OOP understanding and students' CT skills.
